Looks very good Nick, I will be spending the winter months working hard on S&T your videos have really helped energise my golf game
Thats awesome Simon
Impressive ability to recreate the slow-mo and hit every position almost exactly as the slow-mo of the full-speed swing- and talk through every point. I guess that's consistency.
Thankyou it takes practice
Hi Nick, great video and an excellent explanation of the face on view. My question is, do the hands/ wrists/ arms make a “hit” at the ball I order to produce the desired speed....or does the rotation of the body create all the speed. When you showed up the drill for a half swing I saw and feel the the punch through the ball to get the desired pop into the ball. Thank you.
Jerry. Hamilton Ontario.
Hi Jerry, yes combination of both, that drill is a great one to practice
I'm liking the S&T swing as it does help with too much back usage. My biggest issue holding me back from a single digit hcp is consistency not just with the driver. I have hit drives from 280-300+ in the fairway but not consistently and hit greens then miss to many others. With this system how can I get more consistent?
It takes time Justin, but the best way is to find a S&T instructor to work with
from your ST experience, which driver loft is best for S&T swing style, 9.5 degrees or 10.5, thank you for the info!
I like 9 but the loft is very much an individual thing even for S&T golfers
I just literally discovered your channel....what videos should I start with? What does the yellow lines on the ground represent? I also see a red and yellow dot. Any books you would recommend? Thanks for your help.
The lines are the grid which represent the club path and hand path in the golf swing
Stack & Tilt book for sure
@@NickTaylorGolf I was able to watch a few more videos in the middle of the night lol....thank you for responding as I plan to immerse myself with learning this method.

I am just discovering Stack N Tilt, and yesterday was the first day I went to the range, practiced this, and then played. Predictably, because it's new, I had good and bad results...However, one thing of note, with my PRGR Black Launch Monitor at the range. Until yesterday, My swing speed has hovered around 77-80. At my age of 63, that is not unusual. But i am in very good shape for my age, and pretty strong, and always felt I could do better. After, looking at your videos for stack and tilt with driver, I was suddenly averaging 85-90, with a high of 94!. I have no doubt that with more practice, I can routinely swing @ 95-100. Great Videos, Nick. They are inspirational....
Looks like your stance is slightly closed. Is that so?
Definitely going to give S&T a go. The only consistent shot I seem to have in my game is when I play a punch shot. Play the ball back in my stance, feel like I'm more over the ball, and keep my weight more on my left side. I always get crisp solid contact playing this shot and now, looking more into it, S&T makes a lot of sense as to why I always have success playing this one shot.
Subbed to yours and Tom Saguto's channels. Both of your videos are to the point, well explained, and easy to understand. I have the S&T book arriving tomorrow. Will have to spend the weekdays working on this at home. These winter months in the UK are the pits......it's dark by the time I get home from work.
Thanks for watching mine and Tom’s videos and I’m glad they help. Check out Rob Cheney and Jess Frank too 💪
Excellent video of the driver swing. My goal this winter is to switch to the stack and tilt method.
That’s awesome thankyou
in a conventional swing, the butt end of the club points at the target line during the backswing. In stack and tilt, does the butt end instead point to the diagonal yellow line you have on your mat? Thank you. Arnie
I always thought everything in the stack and tilt swing is in ball position back 2
Ball position is a preference for the individual and/or what type of shot you are trying to play
@@NickTaylorGolf this is good to know.... Gonna go back to zero for the driver and mess around with that
Good luck Samuel
chock full of great advice ...thanks ...btw, any thoughts on the counterfall in transition?
and if you think about those 43 points whilst driving, good luck!
I actually played golf today with an older gentleman with a bad back. He used the stack and tilt method telling me it saved him from giving up golf. I do not use stack and tilt, but his golf play was surprisingly good despite his age and back injury. He didn't hit it too far, but was very accurate. Seeing it first hand made me think that I would be interested in learning the method.
Thats a more common story than you would think, thanks for sharing
Excellent video. One of the best. I’m switching to this method after trying it in my backyard hitting net. Thanks.
Glad it helped
Can you explain the difference between a ‘toe up’ driver and the driver sits flat ?
Thats the lie angle your referring too, depending on the angle you deliver the shaft. The higher the hands at impact -- the more the toe will be down and vice versa
Excellent visual series with driver, Thanks!
Thankyou Michael I appreciate your comments
Have you ever considered going pro?
I would love to but never was good enough at an early age, my swing has improved a lot in recent years but unfortunately too busy working to consider playing
Verry instructive video . Can you tell me what happens with the transfer of weight during the strike. Thanx
The stage by stage commentary was very good. Would you also address weight distribution at set up and throughout the swing.
Seeing your left arm under your right shoulder at top of backswing is what i am working on now
Thank you Nick
Thanks Patrick
Hi Nick, Sandy here. I turned 80 in August and shot 73 last week (missed 4 birdie putts from 10 feet and in) with the help of your videos. A couple months back, I asked you about making some wedge game videos. Have you given any thought to that? Keep up the great work, and thanks.
Thats awesome Sandy, I feel this is something best filmed on a course which is difficult to do here in Singapore
I take lessons with GOLFTEC in my area. We incorporate elements of the S&T within the traditional golf swing. Does one type of swing eliminate the other?
A lot of similarities therefore a number of S&T instructors working at GOFTEC
Outstanding!!!
The driver was the only club killing me with stack and tilt. This video and Jess Frank has helped tremendously! Thank you 🏌🏼♂️
Nice one Joe, thanks for watching
