I was even running a basekit sledge heavy, and I was pretty damn hard to stop.
only thing that got me consistently was this one light class, who would taze me and then bodyshot me with knives until I died, because I couldn't close the gap.
and I'm inclined to believe if I had been running anything other than a melee weapon, they wouldn't have been able to pull that off.
I think on my first time playing as heavy, I tied or got 1 higher than my eliminations on light, just by playing like an absolute bozo.

I think that most people don't want to play heavy because it gets boring after a while and also I have nothing against any streamers that use light medium or anything like that but I find cringe when streamers give themselves titles like #1 light player and they are shooting walls.
