Eachine EAT15 UDI Pinecone SG1603 Rally car noisy loud gears differential RC rally car

I got this car used for christmas from my Dad (thanks Dad). After a session of driving I found the nouse from the gears to be quite bothersome. The seller had mentioned some "upgrades" that he had done so I've decided to investiagte the noise and see if I can improve it at all.
