  • Most of the riders change engine oil regularly but often ignore brake calipers which are crucial for optimum braking performance.
    Rebuilding brake calipers increases the life of the braking components and also ensures that your vehicle never lacks braking power when you need it the most.
    Nissin brake calipers are commonly found in Suzuki Access 125 and various Japanese scooters for front wheel braking as well as many motorcycles for rear wheel braking.
    Brake calipers should be regularly inspected for leakage and smooth movement. Brake fluid also needs to be replaced every year or two because with time brake fluid absorbs moisture as it is hygroscopic in nature and starts degrading, which if left unchecked can lead to spongy brake lever and poor braking performance, endangering your life as well as other road users.

    Man the work in doing that and in editing is truly remarkably enthusiast level. I have been watching your videos when i recently came across your Sony HT S20R video. It might be easy for some people who knows this already, but who doesn't; this is a perfect guide. And moreover a no-nonsense video. High quality stuff.

      Thanks for appreciating brother! I try to prioritize important information and clear visuals in most of my videos so that viewers can get accurate DIY content, not the gimmick 5 minute life hacks lol!

    Does these oring can be used on Honda hornet rear caliper? Should we use old or new(big/small) which you showed

      @M-DIY  5 місяців тому

      It is hard to say because the caliper I showed was installed in Suzuki access 125 and same caliper is used in many scooters for front braking and motorcycles for rear braking, including yours. No model number is mentioned on the calipers which makes it a bit hard to judge unless both calipers are seen together and compared. I haven't seen the caliper in Suzuki Hornet that's why I can't comment on cross compability of o rings and other components.

    Bro can use b type mcb instead of type c.

    • @M-DIY
      @M-DIY  5 місяців тому

      Yes. B curve MCB has lower tolerance and is meant for resistive loads like bulbs, geysers and ovens while C curve MCB has higher tolerance and is meant for capacitive loads like fans, electric motors, compressors, etc. B curve MCB trips frequently if compressors or motors are switched on because initial power consumption is pretty high for these devices compared to resistive loads which consume power in a stable manner so C curve MCB is better suited.
