Not sure if you realise, but isopropyl alcohol sprayed directly onto a mould will slowly ruin it. Alcohol dries out the silicone and removes the shine from the mold. Its fine to lightly spray once poured as this changes the surface tension which allows bubbles to pop. Baby wipes are your best bet for cleaning molds.
Yes, thank you! 😊
You remind me of Julie from pouring your heart out.. she randomly says “hey”. And you randomly say “A”. She makes you wait to see her turn over the results. And you do to. Many other things too.
Haha. That's too funny! ❤️. Thank you for watching Michelle!
Hello fello Arizonan. I just wanted to pop in and twll you how refreshing it is to see someone on here that doesnt get all hung up on bubbles 😊 Thank you.
Thank you so much Neighbor! 💓 The bubbles used to drive me crazy... but now I find that actually don't mind them. My projects are definitely go with the flow... no right or wrong.. just let the imagination go. Much more fun that way! haha. Stay cool 😎
I think those little plastic pieces are just small cabachons. But boy are they gorgeous in that resin. I love this mold and all of the designs you made. Simply beautiful. Thank you so much. ✌🏻🤍
Thank you so much! Yes!! Cabochons.. The word escaped me while I was making that video! Thank you!
Beautiful lamps. I love all three. But i also wish the blue was less dark and more translucent. ❤❤❤
I totally agree! Thank you for watching ❤️
Oh my goodness, I got pins and needles when that tipped. Fun idea with foil flakes 😊
me too, I did a gasp out loud and I'm sitting here all alone!😲LOL
Haha THAT was a close call! lol. Luckily I caught it.. what a mess that would have been! 🤣
@@lindao7887Hahaha. 😂
Having to put a hold on my resin crafting as I prepare to move. I can't wait to try these in new place
Oh no! That's always tough, but how exciting to have a new place to create masterpieces!! 😊
Absolutely gorgeous! I was hoping we would get a view with no lights or very low lighting. The last one with colour lights is my fav and hanging them at different heights looks fantastic! I have added this mould to my wishlist. Thank you for sharing your creative process with us.
Thank you so much! I'm sorry about not getting better pictures with no Lights. Maybe I can add some to my community page or Facebook! ❤️
If you guys want to know how much resin you’re going to need, you can fill your mold with water and weigh it!
Thanks Gen!
You can always put the battery protector back. I do it all the time
Yes!! good reminder. Thank you! ☺️
I love the clear one with colored lights!
Thanks Barbara! My favorite too :)
I like the colored lights in the clear jar.they stand out more
Thank you Brenda! I think you're right! :)
They call those water beads Orbeez.😊
These are plastic cabochons, but I do have some orbeez on hand! haha
My favorite is .. all of them. Green is one of my favorite colors. Gold is classy. The clear is vintage. You couldn't have done a better job. Thank you. 😊
Thank you so much Belinda! 💓
Awesome resin crafts
Thank you so much 😊
You've helped me pick n choose the molds I want to purchase and attempt several ideas of various tutorials. This particular lighting is attractive and gives the quality I am looking for. Thanks for sharing these lighting bells. Holidays can be specially depicted in these. Endless ideas are coming to mind.
Thanks again!
Wonderful! I'm so glad that you like them. Please let me know if you make some.. Also, I've never heard them referred to as lighting bells. I absolutely love that!! Thank you for watching and for your comment. I appreciate you! ❤️
U could also use tea lights. Absolutely gorgeous ❤u could also put seed beads on the wire or necklace wire
Yes! When I ordered the mold I also ordered tea lights. But the opening for the lights is to narrow for them. :/ Thank you for watching and for your comment. ❤

Thank you Ilsa!! I ❤️ this mold! :)
They are all beautiful
Thank you Laura! ❤
New subscriber from Australia. These little lanterns look absolutely gorgeous, although I prefer the 2 clear ones over the green one but all look awesome. It was great to see how you did these. I think I’m going to look for them. They would make a very beautiful gift for someone. Thanks for sharing your videos with all of us. I’m going to try and look at some of your previous videos.
What a great idea! They turned out very pretty. You come up with the best projects and I just went on line and ordered me two. Thank you!❤

Thank you! ☺️. It really works great!
OMGoodness! These are absolutely gorgeous! I have to get some of these! What are those little clamps called that you used on the lids?
Thanks so much Tawnya! Those are jewelry clasps and there is a link on the video with the ornament. I need to get one posted for this video. Sorry about that!

Those are sooo pretty I have to get those love what you did with them especially the one with the beads❤
Thank you very much!! ❤️
These are beautiful!! BRAVO! 👏🏼 I don’t mind bubbles in certain things, for “movement”. Did you use a deep resin or regular? TFS! 😊
Thank you! No, I used regular resin but my room is cool. :)
Beautiful 😻
Thank you so very much Katie May! ! 😊
I got 99% alcohol off eBay and it works even better than 91% I think I paid like $40 for a gallon.
I prefer 91% because it's a bit less harsh. Sounds like a good value though. :)
Chain would look nicer than wire❤
Yes! Much nicer! haha I need to get a couple of spools ai think! :)
Thanks for replying. Love what you make. I'm definitely getting those light moulds. The gold one you made was gorgeous. Love your channel.
What is the name of those little lights
I love all of them but my favorite was the green blue one ❤
Thank you Tinker! 😊
Good morning my name is Marilyn Johnson I live in Wilson North Carolina if you want your epoxy resin to dry Bass get you a heated mat it will cure your resin in 4 hours an Amazon do have that mold for 1099
Thank you Marilyn! 😊
I’ve been watching resin art lately and I’m hooked and am now purchasing stuff to make some myself. In all the videos and makers I watch clean up is mentioned but never told how do we clean supplies for the next use, I’d love to know how. 🫶🏼
Hi there, and welcome to a new adventure and hobby in Epoxy Resin! ❤️. There are several youtube videos dedicated to cleaning supplies... depending on what you decide to use to mix your resin in, will have a lot to do with how you clean up. :) Silicone molds will often come with instructions from makers on how to clean their molds. Let me know if you have trouble finding a tutorial, and I'd be happy to recommend one. :) Thank you for watching! ❤️
One of the most exquisite projects I've seen in quite a while!!! You got it! Thank you😍Just beautiful - I can't say enough. (Again, I love the translucency!!! 😍)
Thank you so much, Linda! I think I'll be making a lot of them.. I'm already searching Amazon for different colors to try. Thank you! ❤️
That blue-green one with the coloured LED lights looks like you captured the Northern Lights into the Pendant. I LOVE how it turned out!
I think that the 💙 jar, needs a copper or antique brass colored findings...
Good idea! And I have some that are an antique bronze / copper color too. Didn't even dawn on me to consider it! Thank you! ☺️
Cool. Will the molds fit inside your water bottle halves to help keep them round? That Aqua Bombay India Ink is so beautiful, I gotta get me some!
I'll have to try that! Thank you! ☺️
If you don’t know how much resin you will need, fill the mold with water then pour it into a measuring cup. Write the amount on the outside of the mold to remind you next time.
Good idea! ❤️
These all turned out so pretty! I love how the bead one has a bumpy bottom. And, you're right, you can't go wrong with gold flakes. 😍
Thank you Lisa! 😊
OMG, these are absolutely stunning!!!! I've been looking for an idea for a night light I can use in my son room and this is perfect. They're so beautiful and I love that you can customize them to fit any decor. Amazing ❤🎉. Thank you so much for sharing
That's a great idea for a night light! They are perfect size for that! Let me know how it turns out. ❤️
I use puppy pads for easy clean up easy. I get them at the dollar tree store 😊
Great idea!!
You always seem to regularly come up with a cool twist on your projects! ❤
Haha Yeah, I could probably make things a bit simpler. But that's no fun right?? lolol. Thank you so much for watching and for your comment. ❤
Just found your channel and it ROCKS!!!!! I'm leaning towards the Cracked Glass look!!
Thank you Cheryl and welcome to my channel! I think that's my favorite too! :)
Ok…now I had to buy all the stuff! I think these will sell very well at my holiday markets. I also am in Arizona😊 I LOVE THESE!!!
It's so nice to have others here from AZ! I hope you're staying cool! 🔥 I am obsessed with this mold! so fun and endless possibilities! Thank you for watching! ❤️
How do u mix the resin and hardner equally?
I will try to do a video soon! You can see on UA-cam that there are already many different videos. :) I recommend "Pouring Your Heart Out". Thank you for watching and for your comments! ❤️
Before adding resin to your bottle-bottom "mixing cups," firmly pinch together a spot on one side. That will stress the plastic enough to leave a V-shaped "pouring spout" which will allow you to pour with better control.
That's a really good tip! Thank you, Professor Jay Tee. I'm going to start doing that. 😀
Instead of wasting the papertowels, let your resin spills dry on your silicone mat till it's dry. Then peal them off and sort by color/size ect.... They make great jewelry and eat effects in your resin designs. Use your towels to clean your srir sticks, spray withalcoholand wipe as soon as you are finished, works like a dream. Woodenstickwork well this way as well, the resinsoaks into the wood and you wipe off the excess and this keeps the stick sturdy and clean
😂🤗🙏💯🌅
Great tip!
They all turned out great! I think the one with the clear baubles is my favorite. I liked the colored lights in that one the best. The greenish blue and the gold foil are beautiful too, the soft white lights I thought looked best in those. I loved that you showed us how they looked hanging up. That is a good tip for getting the molds to be round. I’ve wrapped drinking glasses in cling wrap and put them in and around molds to get them to stay round. Whatever works, right?😂 Thanks for another great video!
Thank you so much, Funo! ❤️
Just subscribed. I'm getting ready to start resin projects and loved you video... thank you for sharing
Welcome to my channel! Thank you for watching and for your subscription! ❤️
These all turned out really pretty! 😍 The one with the clear beads makes me think of old textured glass bottles. 😁👍 I think you could get away with adding a single drop or even half a drop of color in with those clear beads so they stand out more, or maybe add some of that rainbow sparkle ink (which is really just microfine glitter) to give the light a bit more to reflect off of. Might be interesting. 🤔
I also think some fantasy film or fibers would work well in these molds with the lights behind it too. Though chopped up cellophane would probably work just as well and be less expensive, or just plain cellophane glitter. Fantasy film does have that lovely effect when heated and can be layered with the fibers for such pretty effects that might look awesome in this type of project. ...Oh, now I'm torn on what I'd like to see. 😅
Thank you! Those are both great ideas and I might need to do both!! 😁
Great ideas!
@@resinnut9335 I look forward to watching you do it! 😁👍
Absolutely beautiful.whats the name of those moulds.please i look at temu, eBay.but I can't find them ,I really like to have a sets, thank you
Hi Amelia. If you look in the description under the video, there is a link to these molds on Amazon. I don't think that Temu has them. Let me know if you have any trouble locating the link.
Beautiful!
Just a thought.. Is it possible to make one with the clear beads; but add a few drops of colored ink after you put the mixture into the mold and see how the color disperses as the piece cures?
Just a thought...
Oh wow!! I'm going to try that today! I'll let you know!
Those turned out spectacular! I can’t pick a favorite since they’re all unique and equally creative. Great job!!!
Thanks so much! 😊
These are so beautiful! They remind me of old perfume bottles. Im definitely getting this mold. I was already planning to
Thanks Emily! ❤️
Coming from an ex jewelry maker, You should dip your jewelry tools in silicone.
Oh my gosh, Pam, That's brilliant! It would be ao much easier if they didn't slip! Thank you!! ☺️
Barbara, I absolutely love these, they are beautiful! I was holding my breath to see if it was easy to demold, lol. My husband has had to demold some of my crafts. I definitely have to get these. Do they come with the lights? Thanks for sharing this. I'm always looking forward with what you will make next!
Yes, I was happy that they released easily with the bit of alcohol. :) The mold do include the fairy lights! :) There is a link to that mold in the description ❤
Thanks Barbara!
I think thatit would look really good if you added the beads to a very light colored resin so when its cured and you add the fairy lights you would have lightly colored resin with the clear colored beads where the light would shine through more.
Thank you Peta! I have a new video showing that! Will be posting that next week. ❤️
Those are gorgeous, I love them all. Yeah, water and resin doesn't work together. That is a scary thought.
I agree Pam! 👍
Use parchment paper (like baking paper) to save on clean up. Resin does not stick to parchment paper
Thanks Karen! Parchment paper should be a staple in my craft room! I seem to always forget to buy more. :/
These are gorgeous I must try this! In addition I like your ideas of the vinyl and silicone mat for a faster clean-up. I have recently started putting down freezer paper on top of my silicone mat, shiny side up so that I can collect the drips to make pretty jewelry with, and then I just chunk it or reuse it once I’ve peeled off the drips.😉
Great idea! Thank you!! ☺️
You can put the tops of your bottles into your pot plants or garden top side into dirt and fill with water and water your plants that way. Saves some water too.
That's a great idea! thank you! 😊
If you Pour water in your mold and measure the water you will know how much resin it holds.
Thanks you :)
I wondered if a rubberband would help with keeping the mold round if it was not too tight.
Great idea Donna! It's worth a try! Next time I'll see how it works! 🙂
Great idea about using water bottles. Never thought about it. Thanks
Happy to help. :)
Pour down the popsicle stick. It won’t run down the side of the cup
Good tip!
Cutting off the bottom of the water bottles is a good idea..thanks for the tip
You’re welcome 😊
Do you only just use resin?, what kind do you use
I use JDICTION. That is all uses and you mix that brand 1:1
@@resinnut9335 ******JDiction****** 👍
I just bought this mold. Can't wait to try it! Id like a bunch for my front porch. 😊 it comes with three white lights and three colored ones.
Wonderful! Let me know how they turn out! ❤️
@resinnut9335 I just poured one. I did it clear over the clear beads first. I liked yours so much. Next, I'll do a color.
I love the different colors it's like a boho statement!
Thank you Brenda! 😊
Wow! I love your video's You do amazing things. Every time I do Resin it always smells. Am I doing something wrong?
Awesome crafts
Thank you! ☺️
What is the mold called. My Temu cart is waiting? Thanks in advance😊
Hi Beverly! I was mistaken, the mold came from Amazon and the link is in the description above. I'll double check to see if I can find it on Temu too. :)
Thank you so much for responding. I have an Amazon cart ready as well lol.
Great tutorial love these very much 🤗🤗🤗
Thanks so much Mary! 😊
I like the yellow one most. I have light sensitivity issues and the white was just too bright for me. I love your projects. Great job. ❤
Also with the jump rings, it’s better to twist them than to pull them open. They lose their shape when you pull the ends apart. If you twist the ends in opposite directions, you can twist them back and they still fit together. It’s a tip I learned making jewelry and repairing it.
Thank you so much Danielle! 💓 Great tip regarding the jump rings. I'll definitely try that next time!
@@resinnut9335 your welcome! Hugs!
When you say 7 ounces..is this a 1 to 1 ratio??
Yes, so 3.5 ounces of part A and 3.5 of part B. :)
Thanks for this tutorial I made mine but couldn't figure out how to add lights
I love those. All of them are beautiful.
Thanks Michelle! ❤️
Are these about 5" tall with the lids? I want to order the right moulds. Thank you
These are clever. Where are the lights from?
Thank you! The lights came with the mold. The link is in the description above. Thank you for watching! ❤️
These are all so pretty! I think my fave is the clear with the gold flakes, but the other two come in at a close tie. 😁
Thank you Vsv! ! 😊
All 3 are beautiful but the one with the plastic beads is so stunning ❤and my favorite
Thank you Coral! 😊 I can't wait to try more!
@resinnut9335 I have this mold but I haven't used it yet
How long do does it take this to cure?
I believe I let them set overnight, although I anticipate much less than that. Curing time depends on the resin you use, room temperature, etc.
A set in green and red would be perfect for the holidays!
That would be really festive and pretty! 😊
They look like little decanters and they look stunning xx
Thank you Diane! 😊
@@resinnut9335 I think trying reds and pinks and purples with matching glitter in even more sparkly xx
Truly superb project❤
