This person sounds exactly like Keffals...
I guarantee you if that Denims had this happen to her, she would be screaming from the rooftops to have whoever said it banned into outer space. But because Denims was the one who said it, it’s perfectly okay to say “it’s just a joke lol.”
It’s only an issue because the devs promised to not censor anything, but then their publisher (Sony) did anyway. For literally no reason
“The best way to create diversity is to be around only people who are just like me”
Honestly, I can understand the discontentment with the censorship. If you're willing to use the "sex sells" mentality to sell products and make a profit, you open yourself up to that demographic. Removal of it is, by technicality, false advertisement, whether the content truly matters to the game or not. It's the company's fault for making promises, then breaking them.
A rated M game having both blood&gore, and sexual themes censored is a big ass issue. Whats the point of the rating if its just Teen+?
Pyro would spend 30 minutes explaining what dying is
This and the whole SniperWolf situation a little bit ago are really blackpilling in regards to favoritism toward female content creators. It makes me think the whole Twitch being moderated by simps theory might hold some weight.
minor correction, the outfit censoring was done in a day one patch. people with the physical, unpatched copy of stellar blade didnt have the censored outfits
why does she sound exactly like Keffals?
When I clicked on your video I screamed and threw my phone across the room. After a 30 minute anxiety attack I finally worked up the courage to pick up my phone and realized it was only Tom and not the man who touched me as a child. Don’t scare me like that Tom haha!
The oddest part of the political discourse is how both sides say the wildest shit to each other, dismiss their own as a joke, and take their opposition as serious as a heart attack. Very few people have moral consistency. Has the moral inconsistency always been this bad and social media has just shed light on it or has it gotten worse as the culture has shifted towards "self-centeredness?"
"Most gamers don't care."
I don’t blame him at all for reacting that way even if it was a joke
The way I see it, if it’s being marketed to be explicit, it should stick to it. The moment you censor it, you violate the intentions of the consumers who buy the product specifically for that purpose. Even if it’s a very minor censorship, it’s still censorship in a medium that doesn’t need it and to an audience that can tolerate it.
I don't believe in censoring art in the form of games, music, or movies at all. It doesn't really matter if it is woke leftists or rightwing Christians calling for it. I am old enough to have seen both, and I hated it regardless. Just let adults buy and enjoy the art that they want and if you don't like it, go enjoy something that works for you. It's simple. You don't have to be "dug in" or a gooner discord mod to oppose censorship.
This reminds me of that classic Turkey Tom Episode where Jerry Mouse hits Turkey Tom and he goes Boing-ing-ing with his head! So epic
As weird as it sounds, denims saying it second and “upping the bounty” is what made it bad. If she had been the first to say it exactly like she did, I don’t think anything would have come of it because she’s pretty clearly joking, but since she jumped on a pretty unhinged train of comments that’s what made this more than she probably meant it to be.
This situation is a clear example of how ideologues from all sides will run into moral contradictions when their ideology's logic is taken to their extremes.
