Dream pair with a high technical level but also stunning interpretation of the characters , the Basilio of K.Kim is already a legend and she was my favorite in Marco Spada with the difficult choreography of Pierre Lacotte.💐🌸🥰

I love to watch Evgenia's dancing. Among all Russian ballerinas as for now, she still maintain the perfect and stable ballet skill as she was 34 in year 2018. Ballerina's dancing life is short, rare dancing over age 40, like Svetlana Yuryevna Zakharova whom is my favorite ballet dancer, ever performed the same dancing skill like she used to be after age 32 because she had a kid in 2011.

Смотрела в Мариинском Дон Кихот в июле этого года. Базиль - Кимин Ким, Китри - Рената Шакирова.
Что сказать - красивый спектакль, шикарные декорации и костюмы,
блестящее исполнение. Зал неистовствовал. Кимина Кима очень любят в Санкт-Петербурге! Всегда горячо принимают, были на нескольких спектаклях с его участием.

Wow, Mr. Kim has some serious air under his jumps. I don't think male dancers quite get the credit they deserve for their skills.
He has, In Wien in the Corsaire, the spectators were hysterical, in Paris in 2015 as said B Millepied, he waked la Bayadère, his Solor is stunning

@@nicolehourcade Do you have any YT or FB links? I've only seen him do Bronze Idol in Bayadere and would love to see his Solor. If you like him, he took class the day they recorded the Mariinsky company class for World Ballet Day 2020. He's wearing a mask, but you can pick him out (also Tereshkina and Kondaurova).

I only wish Kim’s costume was not so dark, against the floor and dark backdrop is hard to watch his marvelous solos.
This is often seen for male dancers- they have wow ballet movements but the dark costume sort of covers lots of those hard to perform and stunning ballet dance movements.
@@gpopov777 it’s not his costume dark, it supposed to be like that. The stage background too dark, that it was difficult to see bought dancers. In my opinion, must be lights blue and less Spanish laces on a back.
@@marinaoreshkevich549 I thought the same thing. His costume is appropriate but the stage sets were poorly planned.

A joy to watch.
Every time I see a dancer lift their back leg into a strong, high arabesque, out of an airborne spin, I marvel.
You are right! It is so difficult to perform, demanding a deep plié and firm balance on the supporting leg and a flexible back to make the lines beautiful. Kiminin Kim shows all this to perfection.

May I just add that Kim is an unusually sensitive partner? They can't dance together all that often, but he matches her port de bras perfectly every time there's a pose where they need to match. His jumps remind me of some of Vasiliev's---they're so good they make up their own shapes! And I'm still sitting here with a goofy grin on my face because Genia.
