Even though I have a decent understanding of design, I liked your explanation of the use of the triangle and containing the viewer's gaze. Always great to learn something new or be reminded of something you may have shoved to the back of your brain. Thanks a lot Peter, always informative and entertaining.
Thank you. Glad it was helpful!
I loved the photograph and it was even better to me when you explained why you liked it.
Thank you very much.
All your recent (one or two years ago) videos re more or less awesome. They have sensual rendering, interesting and serious topics centering the crucial and important parts of photography as an art. I love very much any video of yours on cool, rainy, misty or foggy weather, The sense and the emotions re great. I like your channel because you re not just analyse photo gear (which has nothing to do with the essense of photogography), but, instead, try to help others to think and act like an artist. I appreciate that. Keep going Peter. ( Proud user of Lumix cameras since 2008!.Never looked back. MFT user here!).
Thank you very much for your comment. I tried to make most of my videos about photography nowadays.
Thanks bro for sharing. I like this series, it's great info for all us street shooters and everyone else too.
Thanks!
Bonjour Peter you are doing a great job ,continued to do,thanks
Many thanks!
thanks for the tips. And I wonder if you ever asked those people for permission to post those pictures...
No I have not. It is a public place, photographed out in the open, not publish so that the are shown in a bad way. Photographing and presenting the image slike this is ok. Of course using that photo commercially would not be ok.
Last night I was out to take some shots at a waterfall (which was disappointingly empty, even though it rained a lot earlier), but ended up with a lot of surfing shots from a club here on Bornholm 😊
Peter
I am home recovering from Heart surgery I have had time to work with my cameras. I put new light Seals in a Pentax Spotamatic I bought the camera mainly for the M42 lenses that came with it . Somebody gave me some cheap Chinese flash triggers I've playing with them. The LA Museum of art has exhibit in front called Street Lamps a girl was posing for another girl who was photographing her in front of the street lamps I shot a number of pictures of the girl posing without her realizing I was photographing her . Your picture of the man in the Red Coat reminded me of the girl in front of the street lamps
Get well soon.
Enjoyed the video very much, do you often come back with little or no images?
It depends. There is always something that I can use, but are there images that would make to my portfolio, not so sure. If I am testing a lens I usually get nothing, but if I go out and photograph I trnd to get at least one keeper.
The yellow tint in the image is it the sensor noise / WB due to lack of light or an effect?
In camera film simulation. It is a 70s wibe with so increased contrast.
Thanks for sharing your experience, have you noticed the backgrounds of this guy before taking photo or it was just coincidentally?
No I did not. I was looking at the puddle for possible reflections and saw the guy. Did not know what he was up to and was lucky that he posed there.
You are a brave man, the Ricoh GR3 is not weather sealed!
Weather-resistance is marketing hype.
I had an umbrella so I was able to keep my camera dry. It would be so much easier when it rains to have weather sealed camera. That is about the only thinkg I miss about Olympus/OM SYSTEM cameras.
@@formermpc10 You are incorrect. Weather sealing is essential for not only rain, but sealing against sand and high humidity. If you shoot in such conditions like I do very often, you will need it. I regularly shoot in the rain, sandy beaches and in South East Asia, and I use my E-M5ii with the 12-40Pro lens. I have had condensation issues inside the lenses too often to realise that even a simple act of taking the camera immediately from an air-conditioned room out into the open in Singapore can induce condensation inside a camera!
Yes that is a good point. Areas with high humidity weather sealing is very important.
I think they wanted the pic of him in red under the red sign on the store.
Could be that.
