This song fits for the background for this video on Chapter 9 where Kiana had to use her Herrscher powers to save the city from being destroyed and Mei-senpai in her augmented mode can't even do anything to save Kiana but all she can do is chase after her from behind till.. In Chapter 17, Lament of the Fallen, Mei turned into a Herrscher herself to destroy the world by going to the World Serpent and be with Kiana happily afterwards. Its a very sad storyline, happy to destruction. Himeko dies, Bronya found Seele, Mei loses Kiana, Kiana loses Mei. Now I'm waiting for the part where Ana awakens.
