Single headed ALCo will never fail to surprise me before my birthday itself and this is the best ever pre-birthday gift I could ever get, that too in the year 2024 and can't ask for anything more 😍
Big thanks Namma SWR's KRISHNARAJAPURAM [KJM] WDG 3A #14639R for showing up in mainline with awesome display of notching, smoking and chugging action, along with both SH and LH horns. The videos of single ALCo was captured both in both SHF (Short Hood Forward) and LHF (Long Hood Forward) modes. Also special thanks to the shunting crew for the humble hello and acknowledgements at both the places.

While Looking back, our generation of rail fans were lucky enough to capture some of the finest alco actions including WDM2's.
Likewise, even I captured most of the ERS ALCos in KR section, 2 Toasters (GOC WDP 3A 15501 and 15534R), 4 to 5 baldie Alcos (GY and KZJ), Conventional hood and rebuilt including GTL WDM 2Bs (since 2011) 😊 Will be remembered those hardworking legends for years 👏 🎉

WDP4, looks like an electric loco! But,as per reports,Pune- Miraj line is fully electrified!! I don't know, beyond Hubbali( Hubbali to yashwantpur!!)

Thanks to this railway line, Kirloskar Brothers set up their factory,near this line in 1924!! A dacoit prone area,soon,got transformed into prosperous area, because of Kirloskar's, Chitale milk products, all near railway line!!

Ig the only place for we pure diesal fans to enjoy the alcos at is maximum power is in SCR , Marathwada territory and NEFR and Nilambur side, I hope electrics don't touch that side 😢
