Neighbor had 6 young heifers get loose and ended up at my house about 1 mile away scross the field. I call the neighbor and he is out on an errand, but is heading back to get them. I grab a 5 gal bucket, put on a flannel shirt snd scoop up some driveway chat. I start shaking n rattling the bucket. Here they come!!! I have them 2/3rds of the way back n l hear his truck on the highway. I just keep walking, heifers are slowly but surely following me. I get them back as he is watching by the gate that the chain slipped off of. He just laughs and says he will give me a ride back home so l can go to work now!!
The steer didn’t stay in there. He only needs to be in there a few minutes during transportation day. If he had to stay in there, he would have had hay and a water bucket. Thanks for the concern.

Why not give the bull hay to lay on. Instead of dirt floor and no water.
