Everybody has an accent, and sometimes we aren't aware how we sound compared to people with different accents. Growing up Puerto Rican, a lot of my family members aren't aware that they say "Gualmar" instead of "Walmart," or "jeer" instead of "year" because of their accents. But me knowing English as my first language because of school and whatnot, I could definitely tell the difference. So basically someone in England could say "Noah" and we in America hear it as "Noer." And then Americans can say "Noah" but people in England might hear it as "No-wuh."
