@@PecktecGames ah I forgot you said you used Contrast paints too… lol thanks, starting to dive into this one and there’s so many minis, a bit daunting.
No worries to be honest I don’t remember is I used the speed paint bone or not. If I remember I was mostly using speed paints in this unless I came to a color I didn’t have. But both brands of that particular color are really similar.
Kickstarter updated components or ankh expansions? They cost abt the same but would like your input on which is a better buy for the game play experience
That’s a good question. You get a bit more with the extra gods and guardians boxes. So it mainly comes down to how much you like the plastic versions of the tokens. I’d say both options are strong but one is more cosmetic and one is more content. The availability of the KS stuff may be more an issue than the other sets over time. Hope this helps! My favourite of the painted minis are (1) the gods, (2) the sphinx, and (3) the camel caravan. 🙂
