They all sound great!
Nice set of builds! How about posting some more CBG lessons! I can build them better than I can play them, which, sadly isn't saying much. I'd like to learn a simple tune that makes it sound like I play better than I actually do, LOL!
I really enjoy your videos, especially the messy shop ones. You once did a video where you played an endless loop riff. I have been trying to find it but have not been successful. Can you please let me know the date when it was posted? Thanks so much!
Nice builds! I love that fire starter. I have a magnesium rod that you scrape some shavings off and then spark with a flint and once the metal starts to burn it can't be put out. Works great. HMMM I wonder if that rod and scraper is what you use to make all those lightning like marks on the boxes finish?? LOL
I like the humbucker in the neck position. But taking nothing from the rest thought they all are superb!
Hi Michael - all beautifully build CBG's; I'm trying to emulate your build technique with my 2nd build. I assume you have a back angle on the neck of these CBG's. How high are the strings above the frets along the fret board? Is it an even height along the fret board? Thanks for taking my questions.
Thanks Ray. Yes I do use a back angle. Yes it can be an even height along the fret board, if its the right angle according to your build design. M~
When I heard the humbucker in the neck position and tuned in low E, It was like meeting my wife all over again - it was that good!
Michael, how do you keep the multi fretboard pieces from sliding around ?
I let them sit for a while in the clue before I clamp them down. M~
Michael you’re an inspiration for me and I’m hooked.. can you tell me where I can purchase the slide you use in your videos? Thanks
🤟🏼🤟🏼🤟🏼🤟🏼rock on!
I thank in the neck bought sound grate 😊 and look super Bobby from Texas
I’ll have to agree with the first couple of comments…I like the humbucker in the neck…bridge is a little tinny sounding. Put a single coil in the bridge just my 2 cents.😊
How bout a cigar "JAZZ" box guitar with a buck shoved way up the neck, and stringed with flatwounds? In addition, play a jazz tune with the appropriate amp settings. I know it's a little "city boy", but it sounds fun.
Humbucker wow🎉
Prefer the humbucker in the neck position.
Defiantly the neck position for the humbucker as well as the P90. It's all about the vibration of the strings and how far off of center of the strings and chords you are. Just my opinion 🤔
I wouldn’t waist time on anything except the neck pickup
Man, a fire starter & a cbg builder, you sure we’re not brothers some how? Good to see another builder that can actually play, keeps me coming back 😁👍🏽
Thank you, Brian. I appreciate it. M~
