Which one do you think would be most durable “longer lasting” Epi, canvas or taiga? I like Tiaga but I’ve heard some things about it that’s not good. Colour transfer and possibly sticky pockets
Hi! 😃It depends on preferences. Which items are you considering?
My «reasonable» opinion is canvas is best because it is coated fabric, durable And worry free.
But then again I love Taiga 😅 Taiga has a very clean look and feel. So it all depends.
Leather like epi And Taiga are durable Too, but will wear in a different way with use. But some like that it «ages» And wears with use through life.
I would look up The piece you are interested in on preloved market like ebay Or fashionphile, anywhere There are clear And crisp photos. The piece should be in poor/fair/Good condition And not Very very old.
Then its easy to see And Get kind Of an idea Of how it could wear.
Would also have a look And check them out at LV store 👀 but maybe you already have 😊

Chanel Girl probably the slender Damier leather or epi leather. I think I’ve seen enough of the taiga while nice it bends a lot “doesn’t hold its shape” and other issues so while it looks great new over time it might not be the greatest option
How does canvas stack up to EPI or Taiga? I'm in the market for the Pocket Organizer but don't know what material I should go for.
Hi, The canvas is a woven material made Of cotton, and it is coated. So like a coated cotton/fabric. Epi and Taiga are made Of leather 😊 What I do is to check out websites that sells preloved in poor or fair condition to see How it stands The test Of time And heavy usage, Where They Get The most worn etc (and age/year Of manyfracture is close to The one compared with) Go with What you love 💕

I think they both are durable 😊 There is no wear at all on The Taiga wallet yet.

@@ChanelGirl no worries thanks anyway! I'm torn between the epi and taiga. My uncle has the brown epi and seems to hold up after 5 years of use but the taiga may be the best overall especially with hiding scratches or blemishes. Thoughts?
