I recently bought a Polivoks filter (Elta brand, mint green version) and it didn't particularly impress me when used with my other synths. But when I ran my CZ-101 through it, my jaw dropped. The sound is pure magic. It's like having a brand new awesome synth. The CZ-101 through a Moog ladder filter is kind of meh but the CZ/Polivoks pairing brings out the best of both units. Unearthly resonances come out of nowhere. I split MIDI from my master keyboard to the CZ and to a Microbrute. The Microbrute then controls the Polivoks cutoff via CV with LFO and/or envelope.

midishaper can help you create new modulation waves too, I use it with a mother 32.
Looking to buy one of these units in the UK. They are out of stock at all Elta dealers but if you have one to sell second hand please get in touch!

Is there a polivoks filter with an an envelope?
No!
At least the Russian text on the pedal is correct...
Intro reminds me of "The whitest boy on the beach" by the Fat White Family !
