- Noah, an athletic, 23-year-old fitness trainer, had been rushed to the Sharp Memorial Hospital emergency room following a terrible, high-speed car crash that crushed his spine and paralyzed him from the waist down. His chances of regaining much feeling in his legs were grim.
Noah underwent complex spine surgery at Sharp Memorial, performed by neurosurgeon Dr. Sassan Keshavarzi, then continued his recovery for a few weeks at the Sharp Allison deRose Rehabilitation Center. When he left Sharp, Noah returned to his hometown in Georgia to be closer to family.
A few months later, Noah reached out with remarkable news: He was walking again, something his doctors had to see in person to believe.

My spine was screwed up in a horrible accident as well. Im not supposed to recover but this year I put all my effort into learning to stand up tall and walk again!
Wow this is truly inspiring to see 3 months after the accident wow 👏🙏
HI .... HOW ARE YOU DOING NOW??
@@abhishekprajapati6932 doing great!!! Back in the swing of life!!🙂
Thanks!! It was a journey!
My brother is on his third surgery due to Marfan. The second surgery, he had a foot amputated and in February, had the AAA surgery and has since unable to walk. I just need help and looking for a community of people who can help us - he feels so alone, not knowing if he'll ever walk again nor can anyone relate to what he is going through. I am in great need of connecting him with advice and/or the medical care to push through.
How many days in recovery time
My bf is 20 and got into a car accident
