Before I had older dogs with mobility issues I didn't even think of using something like a stroller but now it's one of the most used items in my life. This is also good in NYC where you're only allowed to bring dogs into certain places enclosed in carriers such as bags and strollers. I saw a lady today allowing her small dog to run freely unleashed in NYC, which was foolish. I've seen others walk their small dogs among crowds where they can easily get stepped on. A bag or stroller are better.
My dog is very small, i like to go on long walks and when it gets too hot and he gets too tired im not going to make him keep walking just because "its exercise" these are really great.

Yes the front can fold down by pressing a button on each side of the basket and also yes you can lock the front wheel in place - there is a switch that sits just above the wheel that allows you to move from swivel to locked. The Dogger weighs about 16 lbs and can hold up to 60lbs.

Magikhd I am guessing you don't have a senior dog with mobility issues because a dog stroller can make a world of difference to a dog that wants to walk but has trouble doing so. In fact a stroller allows them to get much more exercise since they can walk when able and rest in the stroller when needed. It's an amazing way to keep them active physically and mentally.
senior with mobility issues is not the case everyone is using these strollers i would understand a medical issue yes but if your dog can walk just fine let the dog walk scientist have confirm this just enables laziness and stress your dog out for lack of excerise if you walk your dog on the side walk obviously he will b safe specially when your walking right next to him or her but i can't knock your hustle lady still poor dogs smh

I'm looking at this to keep my 14 year old dog safe when I'm at a picnic type event. With is diminished sight and hearing, a larger dog running up to greet him actually startles and scares him. Rather than him sitting in the car he will at least be outside.
I have a dog Stroller my dog can walk and i do walk her in my park all over where i live but i don't have a car so if i have to take her on busy road's.. I like to have the Stroller.. i feel she is more safe when i have her out like that and i am a big person and it helps me walk better and if i need to shop at all on the way home i can put a few things under her Stroller.. She loves to go bye bye with Mommy
Cute. I love the dog Stroller. Not only do i put the dog in it but sometimes i have too walk to a laundry mat and i take it to bring my stuff back home. its awesome. I have had mine 2 year's now and it's still great. And my dog love's it when i take her far. Sometimes i walk her to the park but to get there i have to cross 2 very busy intersection's so she stays in the Stroller.. Then when i get to the park i take her out and we walk she walks right along her Stroller but i still have a long leash on her.
But what if your dog is older and can't run? It's so great for helping older dogs who have mobility challenges still get out and enjoy life - including the woods :)

When the dogger arrived, Buddy’s meds were working fine and he didn’t need it, so after several months of non-use I decided to donate it. Here I am a year later, and now Buddy is again struggling on his walks due to heart disease. Insert head smack. Lesson: Do NOT give away Dogger!
I dont think people realise that most strollers are used for old or disabled dogs - they seem to think its a child substitute issue. If you had to carry a 20 Kg disabled dog after he is tired from walking, you would understand the need for a stroller.
i dont have this dog stroller, but I love the stroller so my little boy can come along with me and my other boy. he hade a operatsion in his backlegs, love to walk, but gets tired very quick because of his legs, but he is a dog and he will always be, with the stroller.
I just ordered mine. I have been using a dog stroller for an older dog and now my 3 yr old dog that has a bad leg. She walks and then rests and walks again. This also comes in handy to carry water and all the other things that make it easier on walks. This lets a person walk further without leaving the dog at home, letting both get exercise. For those of us with older dogs or handicapped dogs, its a great thing.
Aww I love it. I’m looking for a stroller like this for my dog who has arthritis issues in his hind legs right now. It’s very hard to walk him period for even duty times. My other dog wants to walk but I can’t leave home my disabled dog b/c he goes nuts barking and crying wondering where I am w/ his brother even if my mom is home w/ him he goes nuts so I can’t even give my other dog a quality walk. I explained this to their groomer recently and she suggested to get a stroller which I didn’t even know there was such a thing. I def need something like this that can handle terrain. Idc how much it is, this looks like it would be one he’d really enjoy.

Dog Quality I like that I can fit my other dog in it too if he gets tired. In the summertime it would work out for both if the other gets tired. It would also be nice shade too for them. I did check the price on it. It’s a lil up there but I’ve seen it’s competition in the same price range and it’s competitors don’t even come close to something this nice. There are many on the market just as good quality at the same price though they have more windows to see their owner from anywhere they are on either end and sides or top.

I didn’t even know there was such a thing for dogs up until about a month ago. I’m in the phase of one of my dogs lives to where one of my 2 dogs now NEEDS a stroller b/c he has a spinal issue. He’s 11 years old and has had a history of arthritis. He has always loved to walk but his walking days are pretty much over. He can walk maybe 5 minutes before he gets tired or is in pain. He’s on his meds and only goes out to do his duty, but he wants to go w/ his brother on walks but just can’t make it and if I leave him in the house or w/ my mom - he goes nuts! Cries so loud or barks - it’s like he thinks I’m abandoning him or nvr coming bk. So I def need a stroller for him so we can continue to go on walks and my other guy can get walked. I agree w/ what the others have replied bk to you saying. Nvm the haters. They’re prob not dog ppl. There’s a reason why strollers are made/needed for dogs. Animals get old too and can become disabled unfortunately too just like humans can. Some need support like a stroller just like a disabled human might need a wheelchair. Idk why anyone would want to hate on that, makes no sense to me. But forget them. Even if your animal isn’t disabled and you just want to spoil them, there’s nothing wrong w/ that!
Your response if very common but keep in mind as dogs get older they face many mobility challenges caused by issues such as arthritis. A stroller doesn't replace walking instead it encourages it by allowing dogs that have trouble walking to get out, exercise for as long as they are able and rest when needed. You'd be amazed at the difference it can make in their lives.
Yes it does. There are two finger grips on each side that you pull up on to fold up the Dogger. I put it into the trunk of my Mazda Protege no problem.

Sorry you don't like any of our colors. We have it in green, tan and orange so there's usually a color that everyone loves from those options. We don't forsee making one in black because it will create too much heat inside the basket during summer.

One other question I had, I see it can handle diff types of terrain but can it handle snow? At least light snow or maybe an inch or two? We get a lot of snow where I am but I def wouldn’t be using it in deep snow or ice.
We have a growing number of people using it for their cats. I always say it depends on the cat because if a cat doesn't like to be enclosed then they will work hard to get out, but there seems to be a lot of cats that do very well in it.

People are insane if they are unwilling to do all that they can to assist their dog in need. This will help me get my heavy dog to the Vet's office, since she can only hobble on 3 legs due to recent cancer. Now she will still be able to go on walks with me, but she can enjoy ride. I don't give a damn what anyone thinks about it.

We encourage walking but for older dogs and disabled dogs who can only walk short distances, if at all, the Dogger is a great way for them to get out and about. Most walk for as long as they can and then rest in the Dogger when they need a break. For some dogs this allows them to get more exercise than they could previously.

My 13 year old, 60 pound friend now has cancer and cannot use one front leg very well. That is what happened to walking my dog. I just found this and realized that it is a way that she can still get outside and also a way that I can more easily get her down steps and to the Vet's office.

I haven't tested it myself rollerblading but we do have a few customers that have used it in this way. Most people enjoy it for walking and jogging.

Absolutely! We have lots of customers that use it in the snow and I have used it myself many times in the snow. It works great. :)
How much does it weigh?
With all the wheels on the Dogger it weighs approximately 24 lbs. If the wheels are removed it goes down to roughly 17 lbs.

if I ever stepped one out outside with my dog in that, I would be thought of as insane
well for handicapped dog it is okay, but i dont see a reason why a healthy dog would be in this thing in a forest. Same thing like the little trykes in walmart, just for pugs ...
If your dog was poorly and this was able to help him/her OUT you wouldn't care if people sore you as insane
People are insane if they are unwilling to do all that they can to assist their dog in need. This will help me get my heavy dog to the Vet's office, since she can only hobble on 3 legs due to recent cancer. Now she will still be able to go on walks with me, but she can enjoy ride. I don't give a damn what anyone thinks about it.
Kimberly Hansen same here. Mine w/ spinal issue and wobbles. Can only hobble for 5 min on duty times. Poor guy loves to walk but those days are over unfortunately for him

We encourage walking but for older dogs and disabled dogs who can only walk short distances, if at all, the Dogger is a great way for them to get out and about. Most walk for as long as they can and then rest in the Dogger when they need a break. For some dogs this allows them to get more exercise than they could previously.
+brian andre YOU CAN'T WALK A DOG NON STOP...SHE'LL TUG AND TUG AND SNIF AND SNIF THE DAY AWAY AND MY BACK CAN'T DEAL WITH IT.
PLUS, I CAN TAKE HER IN STORES...THEY DON'T MIND IT WHEN THEIR ENCASED IN A BUCKET RATHER THAN WALK ALL OVER THE PLACE...MOST DON'T ALLOW walking all over the place inside.

My 13 year old, 60 pound friend now has cancer and cannot use one front leg very well. That is what happened to walking my dog. I just found this and realized that it is a way that she can still get outside and also a way that I can more easily get her down steps and to the Vet's office.
