To be honest these are really good reasons but the sonic movies are gonna be a sequel they made the first one where it was only sonic they also did that in the first game then at the end credits scene they put tails in it so it will be the second sonic movie with only tails and sonic then there was knuckles he will be in the third movie it is marking the movies in order from the original games
