I love Orangutans not just because they're so cute. It's also their intelligence & gentleness. There are other animals who suffer also with being orphans, but we probably don't hear anything about them just because they're not considered "cute" enough or at all. If I could, I'd adopt a few dogs or cats who no one wants because they're not "cute" enough or have medical conditions most people don't have the patience to deal with. To me, it's all about who the animal is & what their needs are, not what they look like. ALL animals deserve love & to be helped when they need it. 🥰

Those baby orangutan cling to their mothers 24 hours. Isolating them in a human's crib without bodily contact can cause depression or personality disorders even in apes. It's cruel and these people are just as bad as villagers who keep baby orangutans as pets. In fact the villagers probably give he baby more bodily contact. Both are horrendous situations of course. Someone needs to carry the baby in a baby carrier across their body at the very least.

I bet there will be some day, just not soon enough. We will never know how great the damage really is as the forests not only contained these great living beings down to microscopic life but for the loss of plant life that can be found within no other ecosystems or any other location on Earth. When it is from within these forests that past medicines were created to help the lives of humans it's virtually impossible to know just how terrible of a thing that has been and continues to take place, destruction of a living, breathing regenerating portion of our planet. The longer we study, the more we learn about all the ecosystems on Earth the more we have realized that how nearly everything is tied together in a long living daisy chain of life that requires the life within to perpetuate life itself. I am not a fear driven person, I don't freak out about some logging being done to build some homes, fund some schools and further the progress of people or a country or mankind itself , yes let us provide our living with progress to better man in general but lets do that without complete destruction of something along the way. We should be much smarter, much less greedy , much less needy in our desire to have more than we need. For the love of Christ to have lives so important that that we sit by as a couple of small country governments promote self destruction in exchange for money from oils for foods that can have those oils come from other sources not so destructive is plain idiotic. Guess who is going to hold the blame for all of this destruction? It wont be the people doing the logging nor will it be the people doing the planting of the trees for the oil production....nope. The people that are buying the oils will be the people responsible for this destruction, a destruction that I say will cost untold numbers of deaths do to what will never be made that was going to help us. Sound crazy? I think not! Crazy is when somebody tells you that you are killing enough of your garden that it is probable that the living things that can only live within your garden are going to die and you don't stop the saws from cutting long enough to hear anybody say anything further about the matter. "What!? HUH!?,,,,,,,,,as the saws scream out die!! die!! die !!die !! and Did YOU SAY SOMETHING!?"....why yes , yes I did say something,,,I said you're the wrong partner to have in a survival situation, in fact I said that you are the person that's caused the scale to tip too far toward the wrong direction. Like I say it wont be their fault at all it'll be everybody else's fault. It's already been said by top government officials from one of these countries that is leveling their lands without stopping long enough to review what they are doing. There are videos to prove it too. "If the world wants us to stop logging then the world should pay for us to stop logging" Words one of the highest on the island country said to interviewers when asked about regulating the logging, burning of native forests and the planting of oil bearing trees in place on the lands. In other words he blamed everybody else, took no actual responsibility and said that the country will progress through the total destruction of their native lands to keep the money coming. It's insane for they haven't an unlimited area of land to do this to and they've already killed untold species of living things now.....OMG! Now Me? I never needed your stinkin fuckin oil in the first place. I did however need you to care for the land that you should've cared for from the beginning. What terrible stewards we have allowed ourselves to become. THIS is the kind of stuff worth a war to me. War that isn't to keep some kind of oil but rather to stop it's production and make it go away entirely!
The smallest amount of palm oil goes to the pharmaceutical industry. Most of it is used by the Electrical industry. I've seen thousand gallon vats gone to waste (destroyed) because it wasn't stored properly. And management shrugs and says "oh well, it's really cheap stuff".
Don’t need it, I believe it’s a preservative, sunflower oil works just as well and can be grown in places like Ukraine and Russia so no destruction of jungle necessary
