its much better in rise and useful for sustained dps during moments where ground attacks could be dangerous/impossible! plus it sets up for the beautiful burst silkbind
Can someone explain to me the joke about powercharms and powertalons? As a Freedom Unite veteran I know they have always stacked and they give good attack buffs so always have them in your pouch, is there anything else to it in Rise?
I forgot to add them in the run prior to this, then added power talons but forgot power charms in this one. Nothing really more to it apart from just a funny incident, don't worry.
His ground combo for bigger opening is pushing forward with left stick X (2 hit stab) neutral A for the 2 hit round swing, A for tornado slash. Sorry I don’t remember all the exact names.
bread and butter combo got nerfed in gen 5, and now the most optimal combo is just double A, using kinsect recall to cancel the end-lag for tornado slash, which in previous games could only be cancelled with a roll.

wait how did you dodge the initial roar without your white and orange extract? is it timing with the dog jump or buddy skill earplugs?
It's just the jump, no skills such as ear plugs. The jump timing isn't specific at all, as well, you just need to be in the air when the roar happens

How do you get the inner wear layered armor?
it's not a layered armor, at the item box you can "hide" the armor you're wearing. Item Box -> Manage Equipment -> Equipment Display
