At 67, Gentle Giant's album, "The Power & The Glory", is still one of my all-time favorite albums to put on my Koss Headphones, (that still work beautifully & have fantastic sound!), kick back, and just let the music take me away from all of the day's aggravations. "Ten Years After", is another killer group for accomplishing that as well....
Nice list. Budgie and Gentle Giant are definitely amongst my favourite bands. Also, I just got Sunburst Finish this Christmas. I'm not sure about their story and why they split, but Druid seems to be a band that would fit in a video like this.
Yeah, I can see what none of those bands never made it super big. They weren't all that great, though Gentle Giant were brilliant, but certainly not for everybody. The Raspberries had hits, even though their music was derivative bubble gum.

Great list but I'd have definitely included Hawkwind.

The only one of these bands I'd heard of was the Raspberries. Being a huge music fan, I am surprised I never heard of the others mentioned here.

Didn't Fanny have a top 20 hit ?
Charity Ball ?
