This is great, but none of these tutorials explain how to get them dried for crunching. 😕
When you're done making the curls or roses or whatever, you let them sit out for a week roughly to air dry! (depends on air if it's dry or humid)

I heard it could take up to 5 weeks to fully dry & crunch

Yep you're right NO ONE will tell you .. I've asked so many on UA-cam and TikTok I don't understand the secrecy
Google it to confirm this. It took me a few minutes to find an answer and had to play around with the search string, but it looks like you put the curls in a dry, ventilated place for at least 5 weeks. Seems like you also need to use aged artisanal soap.
Oh, and the search string I used was “how to dry soap curls for ASMR”
I think you have to let it dry out in a dark place first a long time probably weeks or months I’m sure.
I tried, but it falls to pieces ! I added some water, and then it worked

Can someone tell me how to get the soap soft enough to MAKE THe curls ? They fall apart before I get em off the peeler and forget making this soap slabs …
I haven't tried it, but I've read that microwaving the bar of soap for 20-30 seconds helps

First - put soap in microwave for 20 seconds to make it pliable !!!! (SOFT ) wait til it cools down ….
Then you use your peeler and curl them -
Then to DRY THEM YOU LEAVE THEM SIT OUT ON A TRAY OR PLATE - anywhere I put mine on a tray under my bed 🛌… let ‘em dry for couple weeks check one every week or so ..
PS IF YOU OWN A FOOD DEHYDRATOR THATS THE BEST WAY TO DRY THEM ! Okay ?? I know I did this at home this gal meant well but …… if you microwave the soap first THATS how you make the big flowers 🌺…
Also this can get costly because you have to be running that dehydrator ALOT ! And it will jack up your electric bill ….. 💵 I know … I have two dehydrators sitting here gathering dust … it’s just not worth it & all that time spent making these ??? It’s crazy to just crush them .. a waste of time spent away from family ! Find another AFFORABLE HOBBY LADIES … unless you’re making lots of moola !!💰Revisited 5/27/24
