He was such an animated LB. Probably one of the most in team history, he doesn't get a ton of love cause these teams weren't good. I remember him running on the field in the dallas game in Dallas in '95 when Shuler completed that huge long pass to Shepherd that basically clinched the game and he was right there on the field showing the offense love. Then he was also the guy in Frerottes face when he collapsed and lost his job in '98 right here in NY..
@@rhey81. YES......he was also in Michael Westbrook's face in the 1997 Sunday night against the Giants when Westbrook chucked his helmet off and knocked us out of makeable winning FG range.
Pat and John called about 6 or 7 Redskin games in 1996. We weren't really that good the PREVIOUS season in 1995, but it was nice to see we were still a relevant draw.
I was shocked yet...HAPPY that Pat and John called this game along with the opening day game against the Eagles....became both teams weren't that good the previous season. And I we CRUSHED the Giants.
Rare W in the Medowlands. Idk what it is about the Giants and the Medowlands it feels like we struggle there more than we do in Dallas or Philly. We always play Philly close. But something about the Giants and the Medowlands spells disaster for us.
Between ‘91 and ‘00 the Skins went 5-5 vs the Giants in NY. Norv went 6-3-1 over his last 5 seasons vs NY (3 wins in NY) and had reasonable success against them - certainly his best showing vs a division opponent in those years. But yes, in more recent years Philly has been the destination of choice for Wash. Wins in Philly come fairly regularly, which is oddly amazing. Since 2000, Wash is 11-12 in Philly, which is quite respectable vs a div opponent on the road. Their “home” record is less impressive vs Philly, although one could convincingly argue FedEx really isn’t a home field for Wash, as it is often half empty or filled with fans for the visiting team. Alas…
