@@benitascraftylife yeah, dieted for a week, starved, purged and barely alive bless him, turned up and they cancelled because they didn't know he has had a pacemaker for over 7 years. Wouldn't mind but they have already been up the Khyber twice before snd even left a tattoo!!! Sheesh.
This made me remember using elastic thread a long time ago when I sewed clothes on the sewing machine. You would load the bobbin with the elastic thread and loosen the bobbin tensioner. Then you could make ruffles that stretched for the arms or whatever the pattern called for. Gosh, haven't thought of that for 35 years!
Oh Tammy that is a great idea 🤓 I've been eyeing something like this for clasps. Love your idea, it's brilliant. Working on your package 📦 Sorry it's taken me so long 😜
The lovely sparkling beads and the texture of leather = purrrfection! BeeBeeCraft outdid themselves re those beads. Of course your leather is gorgeous. I need to locate my shipment. I haven't made anything with mine, I cannot recall the sizes I ordered. Bling & leather definitely appeals to me. I do hope I ordered a few spools of thicker leather. Hopefully you soon feel better. The heat can take an unexpected toll. (I did a tour of 5 Open Houses on Saturday. I had a cooler of ice water in my vehicle and alloted 2 bottles per property. I actually collapsed trying to get in my vehicle to leave the 5th property. No one saw it but l slid down the outside of my car - almost as if I melted into a puddle on the driveway. I decided to forego Open Houses yesterday. The heat index being over 100⁰ is draining. I have no idea how people can work outdoors right now, it's difficult to breathe.)
Thank you Yvette 🤓 It's a real pencil sharpener. It's a special one from Germany that are meant for artist pencils. If it cuts through wood it will go through leather 😁
OMG!! Put my name in the drawing for that coppery beaded bracelet. I love it so much! I love the designs you come up with, too. I think if you stretch your elastic a tiny bit, it will cut easier. I've been working on my craft room, and I made a ton of progress today. Greg moved some boxes, and now I can actually turn around in there! I can't wait to make some jewelry. It's been 105 degrees Fahrenheit or hotter for weeks. I have not ventured out to do any dumpster diving. I need to get a video up on my channel and explain. I've had a rocky start. I'm not sure this is really going to work. But I guess we will keep chugging along😂
Hi Nancy 🤓 The links are in the description. The white one is the first link and about 5 down are the copper ones. To find the links just tap under the right hand side of the video and it should open a side bar. You'll see a few lines then the word MORE tap it and they will all show up. Have fun. @@BabySquirrelBeading Looking foward to it. I can source the braided leather and pearls but the silver connectors for where the pearls and braided leather meet seems to be the hard part.
Hi Emma, it never occurred to me to see who I am here as compared to my iPad. I got your email- I’m sitting by my mailbox, just waiting. No hurry, I’m good….. totally kidding, I’m not. This bracelet almost broke me, but I’m gonna get it - right after I get up and go in from the mailbox…. This is so clever!
Thank you Patricia 🤓 The ladies at the post office went nuts over the packages when I dropped them off. You'll see why when it gets there 😜 I'll have to make another of this type but I use a strip of leather from an old belt. I did this before and people were commenting that they were yanking belts out of their closets 😂
So pretty
I really like these. Thanks for sharing. 💝🥰🤗
Hi Emma. What a brilliant idea! Looks fab. The older I get, the more I love elastic, in everything 😅😅😅 X x x
😂😂 You are so funny. How's Ken doing?
@@BabySquirrelBeading he went, they cancelled!! X x x
No way! I would have lost it. He must have done all the prep. I always worry that something like that is going to happen.
I bet I know what Ken had to go through. The same thing happened to me. Ugh! Not a happy camper! Hope everything works out for Ken.

Beautiful
I dont have any nice spacer beads but I bet you could use any tube stitch(peyote, herringbone craw) on the ends. Love this idea.

OMG Faye, that is scary. We went for a ride last evening and it was beautiful and cool. Continue to hydrate. You'll feel better 🤓
Oh my lord Emma, that bracelet is gorgeous ❤❤ You are so talented. Btw, is that a regular pencil sharpener you used on the leather?

You should do a craft room video 🤓
@@BabySquirrelBeading I thought about that, but it's so bad, I'm embarrassed!
Beautiful, where did you get the sharpener from?
Amazon they are German. They have interchangeable blades 🤓
Really cool. ❤ Wonder if you could use memory wire ,put thru leather and attach beads on ends. Might try that. ❤
That's a great idea 🤓
Hi Emma. I love your
Videos. I am having a hard time finding the beads you used for the bracelet. If you have time can you help me. Best regards Nancy

Could you do something similar to recreate a Honora braided Leather and pearl braclet from the 90's?
That is such a great idea Janice 🤓 I just looked up some designs from QVC gorgeous. Stay tuned 😜
