  • Back to basics! Here's a simple animated video explanation of using possessive adjectives for Spanish learners. There are a lot of similarities with English, but it's not quiiiiiite exactly the same. You'll notice right away, for example, that "his," "her," and "their" are the SAME WORD in Spanish!
    Summary:
    The possessive adjectives for each of the subject pronouns you already know are:
    Yo = mi
    Tú = tu
    Él = su
    Ella = su
    Usted = su
    Nosotros = nuestro/a/s
    Vosotros (Spain only) = vuestro/a/s
    Ellos = su
    Ellas = su
