This is so weird to be posted today. Must be some kind of CC telepatheticness. I woke up this morning at 5 am thinking about how annoying it was that we were taught as kids that "you put commas where you pause in speech" and that's just BS. When I was a proofreader I'd see all sorts of weird sentences with commas stuck in bad places because of people's weird speech patterns. Also: OXFORD COMMA OR DIE.
