Yes sir, they were. In the 1970s, 80s, and some of the 90s, MVSU's percussion section did indeed employ a corps style of play. I wish there were tapes of them playing on Youtude so that people could see them play. They were very good. I remember seeing them doing that time when they would come to Jackson to play JSU in football.
