I think back to playing this as a kid, and I genuinely don't think it's just nostalgia. This is probably one of the best, if not the greatest "Resistance" campaigns for any game. You really do feel how the odds are stacked against you in every mission.
Because you are building up the resistance throughout the game,collecting weapons,hitting convoys and try to keep your men alive. You feel like this fight is really yours for the freedom of your country. In Cold War Crisis you are playing as soldiers following orders, try to survive.
never understood why Arma campaigns were never as good as this. Not even Arma 2, which is my favourite, came out with one with this quality

I assume u know the history why it was changed to ARMA instead of Operation Flashpoint.
