- For the office worker who is chronically too cold-- or too hot--MIT-founded Embr Labs developed a wearable heater / cooler that looks like a smart watch. It claims to alter your temperature without a thermostat. We put it to the test.

Inc. I wish there was a coupon for $200 cause even at $250 it’s too much.
freezer is probably to extreme a test, they say it should really only make you feel +/-5 degrees, so its more for tweaking slight discomfort
Nice to have a real review on this product available. All of the other reviews are obviously paid. Thanks for saving me $300.
i'm going to put an ice cube on my wrist with a rubber band.. i'll let you know if it works.
I learned 2 things by watching this video!
1. The product isn’t worth $300 and
2. They’re both bottoms
🙃🙃
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHA
I’m dead
Lmfao
I just bought mine and got it two days ago. As a woman of a certain age … I LOVE MINE!!! Love.
Thanks for your review I feel like you two were being very honest and I appreciate that!
"Independend food-makers" you mean....cooks?
I work at a commercial kitchen that supports new independent food producers - yes! They are cooks or bakers … 😊
Ummm did they even review this I’m so confused I-
This video was laugh out loud funny! Thank you for the review guys!
😂 The 80°F is HOT?! That a nice day for us, seriously. We are in Las Vegas at 115°F today. 🤣🤣🤣
I would buy it, since I'm always eirher too HOT 🔥 or too COLD 🤤 since even when it is EXTREMELY hot outside, most public places keep the AC at +- 65°F.
💰At $300 though, I doubt it... 😊
I am sick of people who are always saying that whatever degrees isn’t really hot and “where I live it’s so much hotter than that.” Example:
ua-cam.com/video/5Jq_obdMj3A/v-deo.html
Caleb Sevick Me too, 80F in Houston Texas its worse that 100F in Phoenix Arizona. Its not the degrees but the humidity, Texas has a high humidity which makes any season crappy but Arizona is very dry most of the year so usually any temps is very comfortable as long as you are in the shade otherwise the sun, which I love, melts you, lol
I like mine
me too!
Amy Armstrong bullshit.
janet leight fake
I love mine , it really does work !!!!
They have a sale for $250, still too much for me but shoveling snow and cutting grass this might help me a lot
Nice review thanks
I thought the same thing. $300 ? Maybe $150. I think they are a little ambitious on the price. Hopefully they will get more reasonable soon. I would buy then.
my son bought me one for my birthday guess I should try it since I live in Florida and when outside the heat gets to me & makes it hard to breath (wonder if this would help get my body temp down)..
This can't change your body temperature. You shouldn't even consider doing that, as your core temp stays at a certain temperature. The Embr Wave was specifically designed to go on your wrist because you feel it more. I love the cooling and heating sensations this thing gives and it's a real lifesaver!
@@rylans.5365 It's been sitting in the draw collecting dust since I got it & that's where it stays until like everything else I will donate it..
Is it waterproof?
Splash-resistant, but not waterproof. Don’t intentionally get it wet.
No, it's not.
They wouldn't buy it for 300.00 ,..boy you can tell they don't get hot flashes
janet leight duh ?
But I'm wondering how well it really works for hot flashes. I was going to suggest that would be the big test!
Hi I am thinking of buying one of these do you think it is worth the price and does it work well
I would recommend it if you can spare the cash, yes. -Chris
Did you watch the video? The whole video was to answer that question.
@@trapezius77 GOT EM! LOL
$300 is a lot but it really does give relief. They offer a payment plan which takes the sting out. No fees attached.
80°F!?! That's f#cking cold! That's the temperature of my A/C. 🤣😂
Very good, so this thing really work, how about the battery.?
It charges up ,.takes one hour and a half to completely charge.
no battery. plugs in to recharge.
J Daniel What? It has a battery that’s why you plug it in what?
@@crimsonstripes recharge batter by plugging cord into USB charger
Lol.. love the video gentlemen.
acclimation has something to do with it.

.... but their sort of funny almost so I GUESS SHINY THINGS WORK. If you can't think critically then don't "critique" (otherwise known as 'review'). You can learn about as much from these guys as going to a company website or watching a commercial. I will never watch another video with the brand "inc." again. total waste of time.
Usually professional “independent” studies are all paid for by the makers. I found it extremely helpful, I read a lot of reviews, some are positive and some are negative and this video proved to me that this device is not for me. They only tested if it works or not, but not about the details of the device etc. I understand that this device was made for inside use not for outside, so I got my answer, that was the most important thing I needed to know.
The cooling review was not how this works .... it’s not an instant cool... you leave it on and it sends waves of cool into your body and it truly does work !! This was not a good review of this product .
Cringe af, but thanks for the review
I’ve got a refrigerator to sell to anyone in Alaska - guaranteed to keep your meat cold - SMH
300 yea no thanks.
You wear it on the inside of your wrist not the outside
pure nonsense and i am not an inmate
run out and get one folks get your electronic leash and get your physiology compromised and perhaps permanently adjusted
Felix Bloxham
You a scientist? You as smart as the MIT grads that made this?
Nahhhh
are you attempting to convey something ?
Felix Bloxham what in the ever loving fuck are you going on about.
@@jamesbizs look the neonate has spoken
Doesn’t work at all, but nice try.
Did you get one/ Did you try it? Do you have proof/a review to prove it doesn't work? Sometimes a product doesn't work when you first get it. So you send it back for another one.
Do you actually get paid for saying this?
then you weren't using it properly. it does work.
J Daniel nonsense
