I'd like to second others. This is the best video on this device, and instead of just playing your own favourite sounds you thoroughly covered a lot of ground in a small amount of time. Thanks!
I've used the GP-10, and it's quite impressive. But it won't play well with my GR-20. How does the guitar modeling in the GP-10 compare with the modeling in the GR-55? I know that the 10's tracking is excellent - same for the 55?

I bougt it two years ago. souns are average but is so comfortable to a working musician, easy use, lot of options and not so expensive. I use it with a Brian More i2000 direct to the P.A., or with my Polytone mini brute.
You probably dont care but if you are stoned like me during the covid times you can stream pretty much all of the new movies on InstaFlixxer. Been streaming with my brother lately xD
Un - freakin - believable. Musical stargate for the neophyte - beam-me-up-baby! (omg now maybe just a blues junior 111, one of these bad boys an I'm done...?)
hello .. beautiful demo .. my question ; can I get the sounds of guitars, e.g. classical, acoustic, jazz on the Boss GP-10 without using the 13-pin cable (without GK-3) but only with a jack-jack cable?
I don’t think so. I think that’s part of the re-Guitaring/Synth concepts that is part of the hexaphonic pickup world. Regular guitar stuff is just the amp modeling stuff. I could be wrong though.
The GK pickup allows you to use the features more fully and do more with it although I've used it with a standard guitar with standard pickups to do guitar stuff.
Hi Vijay, yes the BOSS GP-10 is available to purchase. I've linked you our dealer locator so you can find the closest music store that sell it: www.boss.info/au/dealer_locator/gp-10/
Thank you for your quick response! I have already a Boss GP-10 processor. However, I had asked whether the "GC-1 GK-Ready Stratocaster®" guitar is available in the market? Could you please look at my previous chat if possible?
@@iamvijay5905 Hi Vijay, apologies I misread your question. Unfortunately this product is now discontinued. I will recommend you look into the GK-3 pickup, however, as it will allow you to use it with any of your existing guitars.
No...no...no... you are absolutely good! It's not an issue 😁 no need to say apologise! Thank you for your great information 👍 Take care and have a great day...!
Hi do you have a similar system we can use on a bass guitar. we are bass and guitar rock. we would like to run an effect from the bass that plays the normal bass plus a rythm guitar effect from the same bass output. the lead guitar can then concentrate on playing lead. cheers mick
Hi Mick, Check out the Roland GR-55 for instrument splits. You could also try an RC-30 Looper, to loop the rhythm guitar while the guitar is playing lead. Hope that helps
garbage in = garbage out if your a crap player. so the trick is to keep it simple. then this unit will pay you back big time. so select a tone and keep with it minimum effects level or non and eq reverb and just listen to the other players. and sit in your frequency spot within the band they will adapt to your sound and you will be happy and as you gain experience your playing will improve just never change your tone and you will grow into the songs and in the mean while a bit at a time you will open up the potential of your own sound just don't expect it right away just get a bunch of eq and reverb settings for different rooms as there's often no sound guy at small gigs. and yes this video is a lure a wriggling worm to an ego of some wanabe rock god. just be patient and you might be big in your village some day soon 🖖🤪☝
One of the most intelligent demos of gear I’ve ever seen.

Thank you for the thorough explanation. This was the only video I found that covered everything about this unit.
The best demo so far!! I bought mine based on this review, I'm using with a GR-55 and has been a blast!

Where can I get the sounds you've Demo some of them not in the Tone central

Why was this video only used for the Australian market? It's the best.
Because everyone knows Americans can't understand people with non-American accents.

@Anthony Lionel Yea, have been watching on Instaflixxer for since november myself =)

Excellent demo and info
sabes como cambiar el afinador a 440 de esa pedalera ?? Gracias
Does this unit come with rhythm section and bass?

I use the gr55 does the gp10 offer an improvement of quality or extra features or is it a slim down version of the gr55 with less?
both
Hi so Do you think this pedal can sound like the boss GT 10 ????
So if it has a regular guitar input then why do you need a 13-pin cable? Or even install a GK-3 pickup?
The GK pickup allows you to use the features more fully and do more with it although I've used it with a standard guitar with standard pickups to do guitar stuff.
The GK-3 is necessary if you want to access the instrument models and alternate tunings. Those won't work with a regular pickup.
Is this guitar available in the market now?

Can you use this without the Roland synth pickup?
If you want digital sounds without using the GK3, get the Boss Sy 300.
Kindly compare the gp-10 with gr-55
Ok Thanks Joshua..can u give a comparo between these 3..Zoom G5, POD HD500x and BOSS GT100..which is the best amongst these 3?
give a little bit!!
Can I use this pedal with my 8 stringed guitar?
Yes.
Loy Order brought me here
When oh WHEN is Roland going to re-issue and update the VG 99!!!!??? What the hell are you guys waiting for!!>??
Tell me about it. I heard it was a sales dud unfortunately. I want the sequel as much as anyone (check my channel for lots of VG-99 goodness).

Other crap over to the rock that the boss just get a bunch of garbage in pedal sexpensive and bad, they get good guitarists to deceive the public.
You used it?
Lol it’s a perfectly fine device. My god ppl would pay $10K for this unit in the 1970s c’mon man
