Thank you for posting this video! I just got comfortable posting press-ons I have designed! This was confirmation for me! I want to launch but I know I need to take my time before doing so!
I've been doing nails for about 4 years on myself and I really thought about doing press on for fun and selling them. But for some reason, I'm really scared and I live in Canada, I don't know if you need a license to sell press on. Also, the sizing kits are scaring me, since I don't know if people are going to buy it. It's also a lot of work to buy charms, different gel colors, etc. It could be fun if you make a video in dept about how to really start a press on business. Thank you for this video btw ❤ really useful.
love your work. new follower you are right on sizing tips. plus is not like they have to order a aizing kit everytime they place an order specially if they only use 1 style all the time. so sell cause they are not cheap.
Hey Dom!💕💕 Question, do you have an LLC for your press on business? Been going back and forth on this & wanted to hear your experience too. Also, beautiful set!💅🏽
hi! I did have one when I first started but I regret it lol. It was expensive & not necessary for me. LLC’s I feel are for really big brands or nail techs that work on clients, since it’s more so for protecting your assets if you are sued. also I believe your business needs to make a certain amount of money annually to really benefit from it. I could be wrong about that part but im sure that’s what I saw after doing more research. Hope that helps!
Love your Vidz Ma you answered alot of questions that people dont answer ♥️♥️ Clean work for beginners, where do you recommend selling if we on a budget and cant afford a website ?
you can start by promoting them on social media (instagram) take orders through messages and process payment through paypal to start! websites aren't that pricey though. Shopify is around $29-$39 a month.
i came to watch this video so fast! i loved it thanks for uploading 😊💘 i have some questions - for beginners who aren't licensed yet, would you still recommend getting website? ive always wondered if thats okay to do /: also! do you file at the end before or after top coat? 🙏🏽
hi! you don’t need a license to make & sell press-ons. at least not in the US. If you can afford to start with a website than yes I say do it. & I file after top coat.
Can someone please recommend the flattest nail tips for flat nail beds..I have bought all shapes of the Apres natural, kiara skys, enail, and they are all too sculpted even the natural ones..the best ones I’ve found are diama canoe tips. Thank you ❤
@@thatgirldom ty i will try them..I have the coffin ones from markartt but they are still a little high..the diami canoes are really good but expensive
I would love to know how you schedule/plan out making sets. like do you say i’m going to make this many sets a day/week? What is your process for that? I’m curious because I’m interested in making sets, but also I work full time. So I’m just curious as to how you manage your time when it comes to making sets!
hi! good question. I only take 10-15 orders a week & I work on them while my son is in school. I usually can make 1-2 sets a day. I sometimes also work on them late at night if I feel I am falling behind on getting them out. almost 4 years in & still have trouble managing time though lol. if you don’t have any children it shouldn’t be as hard since you have a set schedule (im assuming) lol.
@@thatgirldom hi! and thank you so much for the response! and okay that makes so much sense. and correct i don’t have kids but managing my time outside of work is something i need to work on as well😭😂 so the 10-15 orders that you take includes your made to order sets and even the solid colors? or is that just for customs. also do you have any pre made? or do you make them as the orders come in?
@@kennedymichelle I focus more on custom sets. I have been working on MTO & basics for the last 3 years so I am more focused on customs at the moment. I make ready to ship sets every now and then. I do it when I really want to try a design and don't want to waste tips. I usually make it in my most popular size.
Do you only use natural apres tips for all clients even the ones with more curved nail beds? Or is natural perfect for all nail beds since there isn't any extend gel being used ? :0

glad to help! 💕
Could you make a video going into depth on how you designed your website? Its laid out perfectly and I love the way you worded it.
honestly it’s just a shopify theme lol. I just plugged my products in. I’ll see if theres a way to show it without showing any of my business info.

When you start you don't need it. But talk to a lawyer.
I’m so glad I found your page….
Im just starting and the tips you gived was amazing, thank you ❤
good luck!💗
Love this video. Thanks for the info. ❤
Websites these days are not very expensive or difficult to make, so certainly a worthwhile investment for a business!
I agree!
omg also do you etch the inside of the tips? i was wondering if i should start doing that to help with retention! i'd love to hear your thoughts o: 💘

that’s because all those brands are made for gel-x application. you should look into makartt nail tips on amazon, the apex isn’t that high.

Where do you get the sizing kits? You send it to them before you make the nails for them?
you would make them yourself. they buy them before ordering a nail set.
If you don’t mind me asking , why don’t you use prep kits anymore , I seen that you mention that on ig , thanks !
finding ways to cut costs so I can make more of a profit. I found a cheaper alternative though so I plan on including them again this week.

Quick question how do you know if the nails will fit the clients finger? Is there a special nails used ?
they buy sizing kits prior to ordering a nail set.

works for all my customers nail plates.
