This game seems really interesting. Although that intro is just wayyyy tooo long. 24 minutes to finally play the game.

For me the biggest annoyance was the return of instant fail states. What's that? You were trying to take your time? Don't you know this is an Atelier game? Game over, go back to start after 20 hours. Oh, but it has "new game+", things carry over. Items? Nope. Levels? Nope. Money? Nope. Another fake NG+.
Now the worst thing is, while playing it on the Switch, I get through the first couple of micromanagement annoyances aaaaaand the game goes into an endless loading screen, OH GREAT, that's a thing here as well?! Well, apparently it is (Reboots game) Wait, the game doesn't have an autosave like every freaking micromanage game?! WELL, I'M GOING BACK ABOUT 8 HOURS because I forgot to save
