It truly overwhelms me that people walk by, indifferently, to such wonderful music being played live. I'll bet that more than 95% of them wouldn't even know how to hold the drumsticks, so there's no appreciation for the hours of practice these musicians put into rehearsing just one song, much less several of them.
Agree. I used to play in a band, and that happened when we played outdoor gigs.
@@anthonymcdibble9496 Anyone who doesn't play an instrument or sings does not appreciate the dedication and discipline, and focus it takes to perform. For some years, I worked in Chicago, and often I took the downtown subway train during work hours. Often, there were people busking downstairs, and the indifference from the train passengers was remarkable. One day, a young performer was playing a violin version of J.S. Bach's Partita, which is rather difficult (my main instrument is the guitar). While the violin was playing, several trains came and went, including mine. However, I remained until the very last note, at which I applauded and congratulated the young violinist, and I identified the piece he had just played. He smiled, and thanked me for my appreciation. I was a few minutes late returning to work, but it was really worth the time invested, because it was a private, impromptu concert.
I've never seen a band do such a fantastic variety of GREAT music and do it right too. Where are they from? do they have a website?

Not long ago, I went to my local public library. There was an ear 20-something guy at the front desk, and because I play guitar, I was asking about a Neil Diamond songbook. The library assistant looked confused, and he said: "Who's Neil Diamond?"

Sadly they are not appreciated much by the crowd. That's sadly the way it usually goes with cover bands...regardless of how high level they are.
