the eye of the midnight sun/the elves at the end didnt pass on to the afterlife cuz they had an actual physical body in the real world that didnt belong to anybody else in the clover kingdom.

I know for sure they have some kind of beef going on because demon manipulated them so they must want it back in blood
The elves are the natural enemy of the devils because they annihilated majority of the ELF race. So the surviving elves are definitely joining the war against the devils.
Fun fact, Nacht's Devils are a reference to a German Fairy Tale, the Town Musicians of Bremen, or Bremer Stadtmusikanten.
A donkey, a dog, a cat and a rooster want to go to Bremen to become musicians, but then stay at a bandits' hideout instead.

The elves will join the war against the devils since it was because of them their race was nearly wiped out. However it won't be easy, the 10 devils of the underworld are the strongest in the entire series and the weakest devil of the 10 is stronger than Zagred(the word devil from the ELF Arc) and if Lucifero(the Devil King) comes out. The world is finish, the only person who can defeat Lucifero is god and his angels. Which the elves confirmed during the Elf arc and Macht confirmed this episode. That God and angels do exist
