  • We moved from the city to Nhulunbuy, Arnhem Land, Australia for a family adventure. We love life here - remote beautiful beaches and the occasional encounter with a wild local... like the evening we decided to have a picnic dinner at the beach, only to discover our favourite spot was taken by a buffalo enjoying the cool water and sunset.

Lovely beach views! Hmmm, he's obviously not worried about the crocs! Haven't seen either yet, still looking!

Yeah I definitely miss home. I'll be glad when all the tourists are gone so I can go back and enjoy it how it used to be.

is this wallaby beach? lived in gove for 16 beautiful years, remember the open air movies at wallaby beach, one day a buffalo walked right through and we followed it's shadow on the screen,

I was there at Wallaby Beach that night and remember the buffalo. Nhulunbuy was an incredible place to grow up in the 70's and 80's.
