Well, when it comes to looks talaga in the same price point, nothing can beat the ranger raptor. Even without doing any mods, it already looks very macho and intimidating sa road. I also agree with what you said. People need to read the manual to fully enjoy the features and prevent unnecessary appointments sa casa. I'm extremely satisfied with mine. There are a very few electronic glitches though like touchscreen freezing pero a simple restart should fix it. Parang iphone lang yan. It works great pero di maiiwasan magka error since it's still a computer.
Facts, marami ng tao hindi marunong mag basa ng manual. Especially yung mga bagito at dalaga. Tsaka kahit modern na mga sasakyan ginagawa ko pa rin mga turo ng mga lolo at tito ko before and after mo gamitin ang sariling auto. Wala namang masama kung gagawin mo pa rin yung mga yun.
Oo nga kita mo sa pinas palakihan ng sasakyan kahit ang liit na ng daan 😂
Look at japan subrang yaman na bansa pero hindi sila mahilig sa malalaking sasakyan.
May common sense kasi sila at maliit ang road sakanila.
@@lelouchabrilvelda1794 well to be fair it’s not like people suddenly want large cars for no valid reason. Iba ang settings sa japan compared sa pinas
1. Family oriented ang pinoy. Thus larger cars means more family members gets to ride inside.
2. Flood prone cities - large cars are more capable against flood and uneven roads.
3. Pick-ups are cheaper and can be both used as a daily driver and also for business.
Japan has a pretty nice transportation system so people are not really eager to buy “family cars”.

Hello sir levi, i just want to say thanks for being very open when saying sensitive topics such as issues and reliability and aftersales service. Ito yung nakakalimutan ng most reviewers who only cares to say shallow and positive things about our cars in the market today. Which us filipinos needs to be aware of (especially those who are not into cars) because having the knowledge of the specs and features is different from having the awareness and knowledge on the ownership, aftersales service and issues of a certain brand or vehicle. Ikaw lang talaga may lakas ng loob na magsabi ng mga ganung bagay which really helps a lot of people who are planning to purchase a vehicle soon. Anyway, Funny tho 😅 alot of people in comments are saying na mag wildtrack ka nalang kasi pangkakarga mo daw but they don’t know that you already know the limits of the raptor when it comes to loading capacity before having the decision to go for it, i feel like yes kakargahan mo siya pero hindi ng mabibigat kasi aware ka naman sa loading capacity niya.

I'm a big Toyota fan, but also a Raptor fan, great choice if you don't need the 7 seats of your Montero. If I was to buy a new pickup today, it would be the Raptor for everything you mentioned.

driven a tundra for 16 years here in the US, it hauls @$$ but only thing i don’t like about a truck (compared to say SUV or car) is the inconvenience of having to use the back seat for groceries or small items cargo unless you can get a tonneau cover for the bed as well as a cargo organizer.
also, i couldn’t agree more about reliability and vehicle issues, its a shared responsibility between owner and the manufacturer… i had a lot of issues with my truck in spite of keeping up with its regular scheduled maintenance but toyota came through for me for the most part of what the warranty covers.
at this time of writing, there’s no raptor variant for the ranger available in the US but like you, will definitely get one if i decide to retire back sa Pinas

Lamang talaga sa refinement at handling ang mga rangers kahit anung variant compared to competitors. Masarao idrive at stable ang mga Ranger sa corner at high speed. Kahit yung 2014 model ko na Ranger XLT 2.2 pa lng eh hirap na saki humabol ang mga newer cars pag nasa high speed corners na kami kasi confident kang banatan at alam mong hindi ka tataob.

Bilhin mo na sir! Downside lang ng raptor yung sound system pero aside from that, 100% ang raptor sa performance and looks. Try mo idrive ang raptor sa gabi, matalino matrix headlights niya, maeenjoy mo talaga and maliwanag talaga sir. U get what u paid for talaga, dito samin sa tacloban, pagbaba mo ng raptor nagtitinginan yung mga tao, napagkakamalan kang big time na contractor o businessman kahit nakatsinelas ka lang. Pogi points talaga.🤣🤣🤣
From the get go, the Raptor goes pound for pound against the Hilux GRS.. I love the fact that the Raptor was designed from the very beginning to be a terrain slayer. Little to no mods are needed for this truck. Great insights on the Raptor and very in depth as always! Pwede sir next naman ay Toyota Altis GR Sport?

One thing to note pala Levi, the raptor’s suspension isn’t designed with workhorse duty in mind - Diba nga pang Baja running siya so its softer than other variants / competitors. Not sure if naka kita ka na ng mga raptor na fully loaded yung likod, nag ssag significantly compared sa Wildtrak.
Pero if di naman pala heavy loading, kakayanin naman with minimal sag. Or if the looks are worth it, pwede namang palit suspension sa likod for heavier loads. Either way, exciting new series sa hunt ng next car!

Pde naman makargahan ang Ranger Raptor but meron limitasyon. Keep in mind the Payload Capacity.

For my past experience
If you buy FORD (ANY MODEL) you need first look for mechanics not just go to CASA for maintenance.
go to certified shop and your life with ford will be great since performcance is there but the problem is the Maintenance.

@@peacebeone you can go in MechaniGO a alternative for CASA and they do have great costumer service plus warranty.
If you have tight budget you can go in Wilson and Jackson Automotive.
They can give you qoute before they fix your car so you can estimate or prepare your side.

i used to own 2017 wildtrak, nagkaroon ako problem sa valve body ng auto trans. buti under warranty muntik nako mapagastos 300k+. pagka ayos binenta ko na iwas sakit sa ulo, btw if pang nenegosyo alanganin ata sir raptor, baba load capacity,
Tama kng kargahan man LNG ng negosyo elf nlng sayng raptor
maganda talaga riding comfort at tech ng ford.. tama si sir, dipende na lang talaga sa pag aalaga cguro.. naka bi-turbo wildtrak po ako 5yrs na sya sakin, maingat ako sa sasakyan ko, kaso kahit na anong ingat ko 3x nasiraan ng fuel injector. 2x sa casa naka warranty and 1 nun naka 100k km nako, 25k din ang isa nun.. advise ko lang sir, tignan nyo rin po un after sales wag pakampante pag dinala mo sa casa.. minsan kc nandun mismo possible makakasira ng ssakyan mo dahil minsan di nila sinusunod nun dapat ginagawa pag nag pa PMS.. kadalasan mga level 1 mechanic lang yun gumagawa..
di ko po ni lalahat ng casa ng ford ha.. pili po kayo ng casa ng ford na maayos talaga trumabaho.. peace :)
Sa Kia naman dito sa amin, hindi na honor ang warranty ng fuel injector sa mga K2500 Karga unit namin dahil sabi "fuel quality" daw ang problema. Ganyan din, nakagasto rin ng sobrang mahal sa fleet para magpalit ng injector. May brands din talaga na maselan sa fuel kase yung iba kong units same station nagpakarga ng diesel, wala namang problema. Or sadyang ayaw lang talaga ng dealer ihonor yung warranty ng mga unit, nakakainis.
@@unknownd7409 hmm.. base sa naranasan ko sa ford dito sa amin.. initially ayaw rin sana nila iwarranty yun injector ko dahil daw baka kung saan saan lng ako nag papakarga ng diesel.. sabi ko sa kanila "ano po purpose ng fuel filter? at injector cleaner na nakalagay pag nag papaPMS? check nyo po history ng ssakyan ko" dun ko nalaman na un mga previous na gumagawa tuwing nag pa PMS ako, nag resign na sila.. di nila sinunod ung tamang program sa pag PMS.. tapos nung di nako nagpaCASA servise dahil sa mahal at level 1 lng un mekaniko nila.. naghanap ako ford specialist sa labas, na dati rin nag wwork sa ford na nagtayo ng sarili shop. Sa knya ko nalaman na may anomalya rin talga nagganap sa loob ng CASA dahil sa murang pa sweldo ng company at poor systema na rin.. nagagawa nilang wag palitan minsan un filter, oil, etc.. pag nakita nilang Ok pa kahit na kasama sa binayaran ng customer, tapos yun benta nila sa labas un part, para additional kita din sa kanila..

Lane assist, adaptive cruise control, pre collision warning hindi mo po na test in actual test. For me, it is the best additional safety features. Hands on the wheel lang kusa ng mag accelerate and mag kabig ng manibela if na out of lane ka.

Thanks for the video and your honest opinion. My honest opinion on the Raptor and Ford in general is this. I absolutely love the Raptor. Will I purchase one in the future? That will be: NO! I love the tech and the looks of the Raptor. Best looking truck in my opinion. But I have owned various Fords in the past. I have owned 5 different Ford vehicles. But 4 of them had serious transmission problems. Never ending trips to the dealership for a fix. Problems was never solved on transmissions. They would always say no problems noted on the test drive. Or they would say they updated the software. Never fixed the problems! Transmission slips or I would get an warning about the transmission on the dash. Really dangerous when it happens while driving to loose power. I'm not the only one with these problems. Check out the other youtube videos on customers having problems with Ford Maintenance and Ford Customer Service. I absolutely love the looks and the tech of the Raptor. But if they constantly break down, with no permanent fix, it really is not worth the head ache!

I prefer manual adjust ng seats. In case of an ambush, you can recline fast, giving you a chance to survive. Electronic-controlled seat adjusts very slow
If the vehicle isn't bulletproof there's no point. The bullets can pass through the door panels

Yes might be the best in class in terms of engine performance and reliability, but overall package and refinement raptor talaga

Yan din iniisip ko raptor sana kunin ko pero bat nahulog parin sa Grs kasi pwede naman baguhin yung suspension nya para mag improve yung comfort nya tapos maganda din bihisan malinis tingnan pero mas maganda sir levi hintayin mo nalang yung next gen hilux grs dahil bago na lahat interior, exterior, body, chassis, suspension, kasi po yung sabi mo kapag naka idle walang marinig same naman sa hilux eh parang gasoline smooth lang. yung sabi mo maganda 10 speed, hindi naman yan magagamit lahat kasi nasa pilipinas tayo maikli lng yung daan. Yung looks and reliable plus point sa hilux grs, pero sundin mo yung gusto mo sir levi.

Great review and great video as always po sir levi, but my question to you is why do you have to really need to settle with a raptor why not just say opt for the cheaper 4x4 wildtrack instead, its very good for workhorse if need be and its also a good 4x4 off roader as well, and its also a good city driving truck as well, its the same engine and tech features as the raptor but cheaper by at least P400k +/-, so whats your real angle here po sir levi?! Is it, why not get the best of the best of what the pickup market offers or could the wildtrack 4x4

Well based from your video and observation and feel, i guess its the Fox Shocks thats really calling for you, if its really night and day difference with the wildtracks suspension feel or other options out there also then we cant argue anymore of it, well if thats the case then go for it…goodluck and keep us posted on your journey!(Im also on the same boat as you are right now)! I really do like the comfort that the raptor gives cause of the coil springs at the back/fox suspension and even the more premium seats and adjustability. When it comes to payload. I won’t use it naman for heavy duty loading, Need ko ng pickup kasi mas malaki talaga ang makakarga ng pick-up compared sa suv for future business needs, pero sabi ko nga di ko naman gagamitin for heavy load, also i want to try outdoor/overlanding with the raptor, and to add I really do like the menacing look of the raptor more compared to the wildtrack

Sir how about the power between Raptor and Hilux GRS since you have driven both pick up trucks.
Mas malakas si GRS especially sa low end power si raptor mas malakas ng onti sa duluhan, you can check sa yt may video race between the 2 pero wildtrack na biturbo ang ginamit pero same engine naman sa raptor, also keep in mind mas mabigat si raptor sa normal ranger
