Another great video! 😍 I love your chatty ones. The cicadas were deafening down there just a week ago. We came back last weekend after the big storm and flooding and they were completely gone! You were right around the corner from the cafe that was selling cicada cake. I don't know if they still have it, but supposedly it was delicious.
Ummmmm what??? Cicada cake??? Please elaborate I’m concerned
@@BriMarie17 Haha. Yes. The owner was on the news explaining it. After cooking and drying the cicadas she ground them down and mixed them with rosemary in the batter so when baked you couldn't tell the cicada bits from the rosemary visually. But it was still crunchy I guess! And there was chocolate icing on the top with a full cicada under the icing. I don't know if it was something she was just making for the cicada foodie pop up weekend or longer. There was even more cicada food around town that weekend like cicada chocolate ice cream and cicadas on a stick and maybe cicada tacos if I'm remembering correctly.
That is so nasty I’m sorry they are DISGUSTING!!!! Those creatures are terrifying and so giant and gross!!!!
