- I'd like to share my thoughts on this top of the line prebuilt keyboard.
Pros:
- The E-coat finishing is very smooth.
- The quality control is exquisite and detailed, with no visible flaws.
- It has a substantial and weighty feel.
- The board can sound both clacky and thocky depending on the configuration.
- The quick-release structure and magnetic PCB make disassembly much easier.
Cons:
- The e-coat yellow is very dull (not vibrant).
- The PCB doesn't support VIA key remapping.
- The quick-release hardware can be accidentally opened the case quite easily. It doesn't feel as solid as the ones on NEO and CYCLE.
- The included switches have a bit of leaf pings.
- The font on the keycaps are printed crookedly, some are shifted to the right or down. The PBT content for the keycaps is quite high, using these keycaps makes the keyboard sound more thocky.
Other than these points, there aren't really any other drawbacks. Considering the price under RM 500, it offers a lot. If you're a beginner, you can buy it without hesitation.

I really like the way you make videos. very pleasant to watch. I want to learn how you make videos more than my friend
great video! cant wait for the clacky build:)
@@BeyondJo Thanks, I’ll get to it once I have free time to rebuild the board😉
yeye 235$ for a barebone sure is budget
@@retrobrunk6710 I bought it under 100USD. It all depends on where you live…obviously
Where did you buy this? link please
RM 500? Link please 🤔
Can it clack ?
@@juusugoi maybe… will drop the video this weekend
The stock keycaps of the black and navy are the big minus of the Crush80. Pretty out of date design for 2024 boards. If u cant make good keycap, just give us the basic one. Those keycaps make the board look cheap imo.
@@KatodeDevilus Couldn’t agree more on the keycaps. As for the design, it’s kinda boring but for the price, it sure is still competitive. Interesting design means higher cost or smaller target audience. These mass produced keyboard design tends to be more conservative so that it appeals to the masses.
How the hell did 75% become more popular than 65. that's insane. Such a waste of space of a layout. The keyboard looks good though.
@@alpacamale2909 it’s a TKL tho. A 75% is not much bigger horizontally than a 65%. It won’t really eat into your mouse space
@@maxkeeb_official TKL are 75%, just not compact.
@@alpacamale2909 erm, a TKL takes up more space than a compact 75%. How is it the same?
@@maxkeeb_official Because 75% is just compact TKL, it only has 3 key less than a regular TKL. As far as I know percentage is measured in number of keys not size of the keyboard.
@@alpacamale2909 womp womp cry about it.
