These were a big hit the first time I made them for a baby shower. Getting ready to make another set for a baby girl who’s on the way. Thanks for the cute project and the clear tutorial!
Hi Teresa, I have other Hershey's Tutorials that might work depending on theme of the baby shower. Check out my Hershey's Tutorials Index Page: www.qbeesquest.com/index/tutorials/hersheys
I made these and they came out great. They were fun to make and were a big hit at the shower. Now Brenda, can you come up with a hershey's kiss tutorial for a bridal shower favor? Please .............? :)
Barbara Greenwell Thanks Barbara!! I'm glad you like it. I have even more Hershey's designs on my blog here: qbeesquest.blogspot.com/p/tutorials.html#hersheys. :)
This is a fantastic favor and video and is going to be so fun to make. Thank you so much for sharing. Where though can I find a 7/8" circle scallop punch? Can only find 1" or more.
Hi Andrea, this project would be quite tedious to do without a scoring tool. Sure you could measure all the lines and score them with a stylus tool or some other blunted pointed tool against a ruler on a soft surface like a magazine or foam mat, but I don't think you would enjoy the process much. You can make so many types of projects with a scoring tool, I really think it's worth the investment. Outside of my paper trimmer, it's probably the tool, I use the most.
+Debbie Troiana I hope you can see this. If you're in the US, you can purchase the punch in my Stampin' Up store. I've added the link to my description, just click on "show more" to see all the supplies I used for this project or go directly to my blog post where I also have the supplies listed. :)
I have made or should say tried to make the pram 5 times but cannot get the hood to work right. I have followed the measurements to the letter but still not working . Could I be really doing it wrong. tfs
Kay, there is probably something that you're doing wrong. :( This tutorial has been around for a while and has been made many, many times. Do you have a crafty friend that can look over your shoulder while you're making one? You are welcome to email me privately, but it's sometimes hard to troubleshoot without being there. OR Maybe you can send me a photo and I can take a peek.
+Debbie Troiana, I'm so glad the baby carriages were a hit. I have loads more Hershey's tutorials on my blog, including a Hershey's umbrella and a dress. Here is the link: qbeesquest.blogspot.com/p/tutorials.html#hersheys
Thank you! The Hershey's baby carriage is a little harder than some of my Hershey's tutorials. If you're looking for an easier one to start with, try my Hershey's Christmas Tree: ua-cam.com/video/oGxWtQAYSqA/v-deo.html :)
Hi Kayecee, I would try converting my inches measurements to the closest cm increments. None of my tools are in cm, so even if I did the conversion, I wouldn't be able to test anything out for you. Sorry!!
In order to convert this tutorial, I would need a scoring board in cm, which I don't have. The problem is that the conversions aren't exact and I would have to play around a bit to make sure the fit was right. I'm sorry. :(
I absolutely love when a tutor is easy to follow and explicitly explains each step. You are an awesome teacher thank you!
Thank you! I appreciate your kind compliment.
Love the baby carriage, just found you. Have a new great grandson coming in July!!
Thank you, Carol! How wonderful that you have a great grandson on the way. 🍼♥
