it depends on your need. both are component library. if you know bootstrap, then react bootstrap would be easier for you. material ui is for google’s material ui type look. jeta valo lage apnar setai use korte paren.
because of reacr hooks, you can get around just by using functional hooks which is recommended. but you should also learn class components as recat hooks are new concept and most of the companies use old codebase in their projects and there they used class components. so if you don’t know it then you can’t work on those projects and thereby will fail to get jobs right now.

My suggestion would be simple - 1. complete w3schools JavaScript tutorial first and learn all the basics and syntax of JavaScript 2. Learn ES6 and other modern JS systax 3. Then just jump into React JS official website and strictly follow the docs. Its one of the best doc in the internet. 4. Redux is optional. If you can learn React hooks properly, Redux will not be needed. But it’s upto you. 5. Finally you can take some advanced paid React course if you want to dig deeper.
It's my prospect of view I am new on react js I know how to write functional components with hooks but you used here class base components. I think hooks is more friendly than state ,,,, it's a little bit confusing for beginners 🤔🤔
I think you did not watch the complete tutorial. before start coding, i made some discussions why class components are also necessary. hooks are very recent additions to react but big companies still have class based components code base. they will definitely ask you about class components in job interviews and you have to work on those in real life. hope you understand.
