so lovely to hear you laugh Dr Crawford - can often sense (ha, sense!) your sense of humour (spelt the right way thank you) - so wonderful to hear an actual laugh - many of your early clips are so serious - great to see you more relaxed and enjoying yourself - plus really interesting content as well - thank you ♥
Cool stuff, interesting to see diversity of content on the channel. Even though my primary interest here is the bite-sized Norse information, it'll always be neat to get Dr. Jackson's outlook on other stuff.
Hey dr Crawford! Have you ever been to Scandinavia and visited any museums? mayby been on a "runestone tour" in Sweden or the vikingship museum in Norway. I`ve only seen the Rökstenen (famous runestone) in Västergötland and I thought that was nice.
Dr. Crawford doesn't seem at all the stuffy type, with a pipe, a cadigan sweater, a bow tie, and a clipboard. Anybody from an actual ranch who wears shjt-kickers is supreme leader in my book!!! I suppose I'll just have to take his class. I'll bet it's packed!
Just realized that you kind of favor the actor Jeremy Davies, who did an awesome voice acting job of the character Baldr in the new God of War game. Came across your videos when I needed help with Icelandic pronunciations. Great informational videos!
Has anyone noticed that Jackson's Logo . . . _has _*_8_*_ Sleipnir-ish legs._ If I ever write a book about Crawford, I'm calling it, *"Odin* *in* *a* *Stetson".*
oh Gizmo Goose if you write a book about Crawford called 'Odin in a Stetson' put me down for the FIRST copy - (well maybe the second - first should really go to the muse himself) sounds like an awesome idea ♥
Pppfffttt..... That WAS the Idea ! I have NO IDEA what to put INTO it ! *:* *-* *O* _My family's full of dry land wheat ranchers and cowboys. I guess I'll just start askin' around !_
lol - and a grand idea it was - I love it you've got the title - that's that hardest part - now ummm well... words, yeah words - lots of words - that's all ya need ; ) easy as
Dear Jackson Crawford, i deeply enjoy your work and have bought your books.I have question on what resources would you recommend on finding the original text on the Eddas to further the studies
Thanks for this video. When our kids were young, we would take them to see the dinosaur tracks above Morrison, and then to this fine little museum. Enjoy your programs!
Both are ready for the Colorado stock show. And can be correspondence for do-nothing dinosaurs. They curate false cast of bones that don't exist they only presume that they exist sitting in a room carving out something. And give you false casts of different dinosaurs BS!! Couldn't see anything in front of them if they tried except for maybe a lunch ticket.
Hello and thank you for another great video! Would it be possible for you to make a video about how and when the Scandinavian languages acquired the indefinite article? I can't seem to find a satisfying answer anywhere else.
I think you have the wrong image for Geosternbergia... That image is of a rhamphorhynchid, which were much earlier and more basal than pteranodonts/pterodactyloids like Pteranodon and Geosternbergia ;)
Nice intro for the Morrison Museum. Vaguely Nordic connection: Arthur Lakes, discoverer of Matthew Mossbrucker's favorite fossils, eventually retired from dinosaur hunting. At age 68, Lakes and his sons went into business as mining engineers. They opened shop in Ymir, British Columbia.
Matt: "I'm the guy who digs up old dead things and shows them to children!"
Jackson: O_O
I bet Dr. Crawford is incredibly fun to hang out with. He has a wicked sense of humor - I can see it in his eyes.
He can be extremely deadpan. He's done some very subtle gags in the past.
That is accurate.

Drengr Dead Dragons Dispensing Dimebags of Dino Dope.
Drengr is a noun, the adjectival form is drengiligr, lit. "drengr-like"

Sorry, Östergötland ;)
If Crawford is interested in paleontology then perhaps he would find the Fur Museum with findings from moclay / diatomitic sediment interesting.

Ph.D Crawford, my brother lives in Dinosaur Co. where they sale "folsuixed river bed [ ie. rocks]."
I'd like to see more of Matthew...he's cute. No offense Jackson. (you're cute as well).
4:06 RIP in peace headphone users.
Ah, a mix of two of my favourite channels! Doctor Jackson Crawford does 'Objectivity' with Doctor (of letters) Brady Haran.
OMG what a good idea for a new series! I loved this video, and am excited to see more! I love your filming locations!
first old norse and now dinos? I don't know how this could get better
I like that you're branching out into other areas with your content, Dr Crawford. It's cute.
Great vid. Nice to have some insight into your non-professional interests.
Nice to see Dr. Crawford diversifying his content
It was nice to see the good doctor smile
Brachiosaurus are the cutest.
Very cool, 😎 makes me want to take my kids to the museum now
Oh this is great! Can't wait to see where we go next. I wish my professors had been like Dr. Crawford.

You should do a crossover show with the Brain Scoop lady, Emily Grasile (sp?)!
Round about the 4:30 mark, you could call this episode "Nerdy Jobs"!

"Matt's Famous and Favorite Fossils" I would watch the shit outta that
Seems like a cool series
Awesome!
The first head and tooth transplants for dinosaurs!
See, there are other ways to get high in Colorado.
I went there, its MORE than worth it.
Cool video. You are smiling!
nice to see you laugh!
Hello and thank you for another great video!

Wow...he laughs
I'll have to go by whenever I go back to Colorado sometime. Always loved the views out there.
Hilarious!!
Neat stuff. If I ever find myself in Morrison I'll have to take a look.
Thank you 💚 I also seriously thought about being a Paleontologist when I was a teenager.
I should make friends with museum people.
Totally looking forward to this series
More!!
Ankylosaurus is the best.
Live the dream
