Quite some time ago I got the bus to Mousehole from Penzance. The bus was a Mercedes minibus by Cornwall Busways with "Hopper" written on it. The service was "A". No number, just "A". I still have the timetable.
Surprisingly that isn't tracking wrong. They are in fact running Gemini B7/B9TL's on the Mousehole now, but aren't going into the harbour, they're turning around just before.
@@LucyMichela it's still a common occurance, due to the solo's and new Sprinter's being very unreliable and high passenger numbers it's easiest for them to run the deckers as they have plenty spare. Keeping the limited amount of single deckers for the routes that can only run a single decker.
@@xanpagebrown I keeping hearing reliability mentioned as an issue for minibuses... possibly why ADL Launched the E100EV around the same time... clearly minibuses are not the way
@@LucyMichela it does seem that way, but in places like Devon and Cornwall they can be the only way a small town or village may get any sort of bus service so they are still very much a required type. Shame to see Mellor going bankrupt though
Mousehole is pronounced Mowzel..not an s sound. Hard not to cringe every time you said it...🙈!..and the station you started from was..well not whatever you said it was! It's St. Erth...you should've checked out our footbridge there that is about to be sadly removed for an out of keeping disabled bridge. Mousehole buses have just now apparently been replaced by some kind of glorified minibuses by the way..and they're not liked well...too cramped, can't open any windows, and not great window views as before. Imagine not much legroom either. Should've kept the Solos.

I am going to Penzance for a few days next week specificly to go on the Adventure By Bus Stuff
The station is called St Erth
Dont they also have a baby solo with windows removed for one of there servicee
You like solos do much you went and bought one haha
Its weird you mention length, bc when I'm watching this, theres a B7TL tracking, which I can only assume is false given that tight part

@@alexpayne6521 that seems rather stupid 🤣

Awful choice of replacement imo, not proper buses those
They are mini-buses not buses
