We also need to look at Character, Personality & Injury record. I think from the 3 Robinson should be the top choice unless there is someone else like Nuno Mendes.
I really think Alvaro Fernandez (Carreras) is the best option. His numbers are absolutely insane in Portugal right now. He is young, fast, technical, hard working and he spent time in our academy. Unlike those you mentioned he is actually affordable, too, due to the buyback clause. If we don't use that buyback clause then it will be pointless ever putting one in again because it is a no brainer. I can't think of any better scenario we could have been looking for when we put that clause in. We never should have let him go. He was always a far better player than Malacia.
Only problem is, Fernandez may not want to come back. If I were him, I’d be pretty skeptical of United coming back in for me so soon after selling me without having given me a chance…
@davidgriffith1552 He might not, but I'd imagine the split must have been reasonably amicable for us to consider it worth adding a clause in. Especially as it likely affected other elements of the negotiation. With him playing in Portugal, he will know all about how important the wingbacks are for him and how big of an opportunity it could be with essentially nobody at the club who can fulfill that role right now. Amorim will know how good he is, too. We should definitely try at least.
Great video. Still think Kerkez is not creative enough or good in 1v1 attacking situations. Our wingbacks carries the progressive and creative burden of the left flank. Ait Nouri or Robinson for me
Robinson for me. RAN is a baller but not a fan of his defending (remember the Madueke hattrick). Kerkez has huge potential but we need taller players/defenders. Don't think Martinez+Kerkez on the left can help with our already terrible set piece defending.
How much would Robinson cost. Factoring in United Tax, of course. 😅 If we can move Shaw and Malacia (that's a big IF), I'd also like to get Patrick Dorgu. The kid is a unit and very athletic.
Both Robinson and Kerkez are on long contracts so their prices would be extortionate. Ait-Nouri would be easier to get although there is also talk of interest from Liverpool.
I feel we should be signing some good players from pl teams instead of just paying big money for outsiders. There are so many good players available in pl itself.
All of those guys will cost quite a lot at the moment. Ait-Nouri has just 1 year left in the summer and might get a better deal for him. I know it’s wishful thinking but someone of Alphonso Davies ability if we can should be a priority. Also Alvaro Fernandez might be someone we can actually bring in in January for a fee we can afford. I was also thinking this recently. Why do we have to go for a left footed LWB? I know Dalot struggles with it but this system has always had a wrong footed fullback on the right and Amad has excelled there. What stops us from looking at a right footed LB and keeping a right footed RB? After all there are far more right footed players to pick from than left.
I think we should be looking for a wing back. So just looking at fullbacks might not be the best way. It's ait-Nouri for me though. Not sure about stats, but from the eyetest, i think he has been the better of the rest in the final third during his tim in the pl.
All good options and so to is the buyback on Fernandez...however not sure any of them pass the reality test. Ait-Nouri makes sense technically but would be a buy from a soon to be relegated team (United's top brass won't agree to that due to optics), Robinson is a quality player without doubt but has a lengthy contract and would be expensive (United's top brass won't like that he's 27) and Kirkez is the best option as he's going to be excellent maybe even world class at some point but his team just came to Old Trafford an slapped us about so why would he swap out being an integral part of a top 8 side right now (United's top brass won't like the inflated price Bournemouth will put on him). I'm most intrigued by the Fernandez option, not because I think he'd be great (although he would be an upgrade), but more because it will showcase whether the players discontent was being fuelled by Ten Hag or the state of the club. I really hope I'm wrong but defo seems that way, but look forward to seeing the options from abroad that you put forward.
naturally, dalot is a classic Fullback he needs someone up front to pass to. mazraoui could be a right wingback turn into playmaker. if we could sign one natural Lwb that enjoys attacking like ait-nouri, possibly we could see what amorim wants. and if we could get some cash from rashford, we could get 1 more striker for competition. yeah, also we need strong Cbs form that could defend strong and smart. onana i think is the man for someone behind the sticks. and we could promote more youngster
Patrick Durgou from lecce in serie A is the best of all . Younger as jerkez , powerful, resilient in his defensive work rate , good squad player , good in 1v1 not wow.good at progressing the ball forward .good centersin the opponent box.
Hey AJ, i wanted to ask your opinion on Nicola Zalewshi as an option, i know i asked this on the discord but i just wanted to remind you just incase you forgot. I think he seems like a good option tho he is young so some room for improvement, him and Leon could be a good pair to have as left wingbacks. But i like the video and these are players i would love at United, Alt Nouri used to be my first option but Robinson has really impressed me, Kerkez i haven't watched much of so i don't have much of an option yet. Get well soon too, take care of yourself 😌
Well, in that position, stamina first, injury free second, pace third, crossing fourth. Body condition is the foundation of this wing back role, that's why I think A.Fernandez and Amass is not a good option in this role. Someone has a beast shape like Mendes, Kerkez, Robinson are better choices. Nouri is a realistic option but not my fav.
im telling you know as a last resort davies from ipswich last year his contract ipshwich could go down and you could rewell him for like 15 million profit
Robinson is 28 years old and his style looks the same like Diego Leon. So Robinson is risky signing because he is quite old and we also have young player whose style is similar to him. So don't think he is a good option. Kerkez is too expensive because he has long contract and he also don't have much EPL experience. So don't think he is the best option for us. Ait Nouri is the perfect solution because his contract Will expired in 2026 so he is cheaper. His style also different compare to Diego Leon, ait Nouri is more technical and better passer. He and Diego Leon Will give us 2 different option for left wingback
We also need to look at Character, Personality & Injury record. I think from the 3 Robinson should be the top choice unless there is someone else like Nuno Mendes.
Theo
I would love to have Kirkez, he did a great job yesterday.
I really think Alvaro Fernandez (Carreras) is the best option. His numbers are absolutely insane in Portugal right now. He is young, fast, technical, hard working and he spent time in our academy. We should definitely try at least.
Bring him back in Jan and then sign another in Summer
Speaking of Bournemouth players, I also liked the look of Dean Hujsen, solid young, brave, tall CB.
Kerkez reminds me of Amorim's LWB at Sporting. Very energetic.
He's been bagging me fantasy league points all season.
Robinson is a beast! He ran through city’s midfield!
Hey AJ, just a heads up. Youre discord sound is on which means that we can hear them in the video.
Yeah I just noticed that lol, thanks
Great video. Still think Kerkez is not creative enough or good in 1v1 attacking situations. Our wingbacks carries the progressive and creative burden of the left flank. Ait Nouri or Robinson for me
Robinson
that match against Liverpool was good
Theo Hernandez in the summer. Alvaro Fernandez in January
We just signed a 17 year old, so we can only sign one LWB.
Andre cambiaso of juve (24) left footed RM who also plays LB & RW under £20 mill who might actually be prepared to to come to our broken club
If malacia can get minutes...why not amass or Murray...or is Amad is the guy at LWB and promote Fletcher at 10...
Exactly. I really want to see Amass get a chance.
Robinson for me. RAN is a baller but not a fan of his defending (remember the Madueke hattrick). Kerkez has huge potential but we need taller players/defenders. Don't think Martinez+Kerkez on the left can help with our already terrible set piece defending.

They gonna need more than just a LB, good if you can make a video which players should be sold
Both Robinson and Kerkez are on long contracts so their prices would be extortionate. Ait-Nouri would be easier to get although there is also talk of interest from Liverpool.
Miguel Gutierrez at €35m is a good deal given his young age.
Alvaro Fernandez is an option too since we have a buyback clause.
AJ Didn't you argument for a left-footed player to play as RWB under Amorim?
Trying to figure out why is it different on the LWB? 🤔
I feel we should be signing some good players from pl teams instead of just paying big money for outsiders. There are so many good players available in pl itself.

checked my discord about 5 times because of this video 😂 great stuff tho still ❤
That Bournemouth wing back Kerkov looked useful.
Kerkez*
Robinson sounds like the pick of them
I think we should be looking for a wing back. So just looking at fullbacks might not be the best way. It's ait-Nouri for me though. Not sure about stats, but from the eyetest, i think he has been the better of the rest in the final third during his tim in the pl.

Certainties in life: Death, Taxes, AJ being ill

Deliver crosses to who?
Which of ur strikers are good aerially
The first thing is to get a striker in my opinion
Robinson or Kirkez
Any of these 3 would be solid buys! My choice would be Robinson... Unless we can somehow get Davies or Hernández
Patrick Durgou from lecce in serie A is the best of all . Younger as jerkez , powerful, resilient in his defensive work rate , good squad player , good in 1v1 not wow.good at progressing the ball forward .good centersin the opponent box.
Make a video on dorgu we are heavily linked with him play in serie A
Hey AJ, i wanted to ask your opinion on Nicola Zalewshi as an option, i know i asked this on the discord but i just wanted to remind you just incase you forgot.

Get well soon too, take care of yourself 😌
Was my signing in FM24, really good potential
please do a video on guttierez, theo, alvaro
You should even make a video about players outside the premier league
Why not alvaro Fernandez
Davies or Gutierrez is my dream choices seem they would be the bests fit
DiMarco is a specialist
what about bringing back alvaro fernandes
We could probably look at Adama Traoré as a RWB option
Praying for MU signing Teo Hernandez from Milan
Only answer is Alvaro/Dorgu in January and Theo/Nuno Mendes in the summer
search Geny Catamo from Sporting
United already signed Leon
What about Nuno Mendes
we just signed a left wing back from Uruguay. I think he will be playing. i just have a feeling that we will not sign a wing back.
Selling shaw and malacia fir 20m and buying Kerkerz for 40m would be good deal
I truly believe Kaoru Mitoma would be perfect for United.
what position would he play though?
There’s talk of bringing back alvaro Fernandez he’s being scouted by United as we have a buy back clause but I want a fit again Luke shaw
Pathetic that you still harbour hope for shaw
@ not hope just think with his running ability and defensive work rate and he can find that pass he’d fit perfectly into Amorims system
@FredtheREDmufc He's old news let go already

To RWB options next
Kerkez best opt for me
How about DiMarco from inter
We need wingbacks and we need a Bruno replacement.
Robinson please!
Ait-nouri good choice even Miguel Gutierrez can be a choice
cheers
Tbh I would take both kerkez and Robinson and sell shaw and malacia
We need right wing backs as well
im telling you know as a last resort davies from ipswich last year his contract ipshwich could go down and you could rewell him for like 15 million profit
M Kirkez
I dont even have Discord!
Nouri and Alvaro Fernades for combined 40 million
Ait Nouri and Cunha for 100 quid give me that ineos
DiMarco from inter
Please get us Dorgu……neither of those options are good enough
kirkez def
This summer, we need Kerkez/Robinson, Morgan Rodgers/Lookman/Williams, Ederson, a second CM, Gyokeres/Isak and Brantwaithe
Sell zirkzee , erikson, lindelof, Antony , Bayindir and get in osimhen, svere nypan ,ait-nouri, cunha ,illan meslier
Robinson is 28 years old and his style looks the same like Diego Leon. So Robinson is risky signing because he is quite old and we also have young player whose style is similar to him. So don't think he is a good option.

I know we don't have funds but Mitoma is so fu*king perfect for that role.
theo hernandez/alphonso davis
Kerkez
Nico williams
Malacia was never good even before the injury
I will take Alfie Doughty ahead of all these players.
The luton player nice
Dalot can't go forward 1 on 1
Just came here to say that Malacia and Dalot is shite.
Mazraui has played in left back for Bayern🙄
Not left wing back cause Bayern play with 4 in the back. Completely different position.
DiMarco from inter
