So, in defending Greg’s take on Suamataia Greg says, “He was drafted in the second round. You don’t get starters in the second & third round.” Then, when discussing Layden Robinson its, “He was ok, not terrible. Has promise.” So, the kid taken in the fourth round is graded on a harder curve than the 2nd & 3rd rounders?
If a good percentage of your second and third round draft picks aren't starters by their second and third years, you're having crappy drafts and will end up being a bottom third of the NFL team.
He should have clarified: hard to get a starting TACKLE outside of RD1 (Big Kingsley). Quality Guards (perhaps Robinson) are much, much found more often in the later rounds vs Tackles.
The only problem for the Pats is the draft class of tackles this year does not project to be very good and the top 2 prospects there are question on whether they would be better guards. The Ohio State kid who is hurt would have been a high pick but there's a lot of unknown surrounding him because of the injury. The Patriots may be better off trying to sign a free agent LT and as a plan B looking at the draft.
I think Caedan Wallace and Layden Robinson will hit next year, they’re rookies and learning. Maybe Dave Andrews comes back for one more season. Cole Strange healthy will help also.
I'm not liking this evaluation of the tackles. Either they are getting beat outright or they are causing penalties. Our run game against a decent team is terrible. Yes, they are existing but we have kicked the can for 6 years. Pay the price and get a legit young Left tackle to anchor this line for Drake. Protect his blind side and he will do great with mediocre recievers. It's been done before....
Pats should trade there top 5 pick plus nexts yrs 1st plus 27' 2nd for Chase n there 1st rd this yr maye n rookie deal timing is everything If i was the Bengals i would beg pats to make a trade
@rynsithis9188 if Bengals sign chase to a mega deal they will not sniff a S.B. if Burrow is so great he shouldn't need the best receiver y do u think the chiefs traded hill for a bunch of picks

Bill is the type of guy to say he quits after already being fired.
"You can't quit me, I'm fire!".
Coach Bill Belichick...
Need a legitimate starter at LT ,RT , and center , and LG idc what anyone says

I've heard from several sources that Bill will actually be a player-coach. Maybe QB?

@@michaellalli7693 Wallace might be best at guard. Move Mike back to RT
Nick just like Greg carrying water for the Wolff family yet again
Nick has great take on Bill
