I actually considered buying Elixir 2, but I'm just scared to death by way too many negative user reviews which uniformly says that this tents start to leak after a while....Guess it's going to be a Hilleberg Allak for me instead. It's 3 times the price of the Elixir, but I think of it as a long term investment...

The tabs on side are not to pull down, they are to pull out so you can get more air around the rain cover. FYI
I suggest u get a seperate tent tarp on the top of this. Not really waterproof. If so it expires a year or two

@@doctorkayak Should absolutely not be neccesary with a tent with this price…if it starts leaking, then its a warranty case.
