Ha you make it look so easy, my brain isn't wired for this stuff, so I finally worked out how to mirror my phone screen to this thing whoopeee, thing is I can't seem to have the mirroring with the rear view towing/rear camera on at the same time, if you have managed this I'd love to know how.
Seicane haven't been helpful on the emails so far. Not having this ability created a lot of stress (and arguments) driving 3500 miles last summer.
It is really good value for money and the rear camera works exceptionally good at night.
Never got it to record though😂

Either use the rear camera or buy another camera that is water proof, that fits the interior camera plug/socket. Mount it low down in the grill on the front bumper and you'll have a good eye on the curb.
does it require to connect the inside camera? or its possible to not connect it ?
Does the camera rotate enough to point forward capturing video to the right side of the car? The mirror is normally tilted left for the driver, so the ones I have tested cannot capture video at the right of the windscreen, whereas a normal front facing dash cam can.
I didn’t pay loads of attention to it but it did have a decent amount of movement. I noticed it framed my camper ok which was parked in front. You can see it in this video although very brief.
Hi! Considering that it has a Google account, what security measures does this mirror have? PIN, password, etc., in case someone breaks into the car and steals it.

If I put my vehicle in reverse will the camera automatically come on to reverse camera?
Yes, but you have to wire it up to do so. There is an extra red wire going to the rear camera that needs to be hooked up to the reverse light. When the reverse light goes on, it will trigger the mirror to display a full screen rear view.
pity it doesnt have dab built in
I use a radio app on carplay now instead of dab. Just as good 👍

Yes it does.... some versions even record after the car turned off beetween 5-10 minutes depends on the model some has g sensor which turns on the camera if some ret@rd hit your car in perked position look them up and see which fits your needs.
I would have been more impressed if you would show the whole freaking mirror as the screen for the front and rear view instead of constantly having it on the freaking split screen
There are some tricks to it. 1) to see the screen well, you need to re-aim the mirror to NOT be looking out the back widow. That leaves too much glare. 2) I don't know why you want a full screen looking out the front, but you can make it display a full screen rear view by putting power into the red reverse wire that is supposed to hook up to a reverse light. That switches it from split screen to full rear view mode.
