Pearls are ORGANIC gems, so not only are they created differently from other gems but other organic gems eg: Ambers, Corals, Ivorys and Jets might also be treated as 2nd class gems.
@Instrumentality1000 That would make a lot of sense, Pearls are like the Rolex watches while for example, Corals are more like Casio watches, they do their jobs well enough but lack the prestige that Pearls give to their owners.
That’s an interesting thought! Maybe since homeworld sees organic life as inherently inferior, gems that are partially that get treated as second class. Because if you think about it, it could’ve been any gem type that was chosen to serve- it’d make sense to have some kind of reason or connection.?This is such a clever suggestion!

This is an excellent observation! It would have been much more interesting if the Diamond Courts used different Organic Gems - Ivory for White, Coral for Pink, Amber for Yellow, and Jet for Blue; with Pearls being >special
I once dreamed up some headcanon about Ambers being proto-Pearls specifically for Yellow's court: elongated, kind of pear-shaped bodies, less "useful" than Pearls, mostly lounged around as sentient decorations occasionally singing the praise of Yellow Diamond. Then some fuckwit invented the secretly hypercompetent living dolls/smartphones we know as Pearls, so Yellow Diamond hoarded up one Pearl of every shade of Yellow and tossed out all the Ambers.
I doubt they kill the masterless Pearls. Homeworld is already short on resources and seeing how long it took for our Pearl to reform it's probably not so easy to make Pearls, so I think they're reassigned to other elite Gems. Also an orange Pearl with stripes and fiery clothing? Sign me the hell up
I feel like when a pearls owner is gone for too long, they're seized and given to another gem of the same type or of equal status. Homeworld creates gems for a specific purpose, and with pearls being made to order servants like peridot said, it's not too farfetched to assume there's a management system in place to keep tabs on who their owners are as well as their whereabouts when off Homeworld. Sapphire was on earth and in the answer she predicted she would be poofed and would reform on Homeworld. If I had to guess, her pearl was probably waiting for her there, possibly in a room similar to that of a diamond, but on a smaller scale. But when Sapphire escaped with Ruby to earth, her pearl was possibly seized and given to another sapphire or a gem of equal status. As for Jasper having a pearl, I can see it as she helped in the war and was the only perfect gem to appear within the beta kindergarten. So maybe after the war was thought to be over, she received one, possibly in the way a soldier within the military would receive a medal for their service. Sorry this was so long. I had to get my thoughts out. Loved the video.
I don't think she has a pearl simply because I think that no matter how "perfect" Jasper may seem, I think that because she is still a quartz gem that they would disregard her to possibly ever have a pearl. She doesn't have the proper status just because of her gem type, not because of how she turned out so well.
I agree, but there may be an exception for gems that accomplish amazing tasks in the name of homeworld. And jasper is a war hero in the eyes of home world, so perhaps she was awarded one for her service
I think a nice question is what would a soldier gem need a Pearl for? The Pearl would be pretty useless in combat (our Pearl is an exception with the fighting abilities she learned). So I don't think a soldier gem really needs a normal Pearl's abilities.
I agree. No way a soldier has a pearl. She isn’t really seen as perfect in Homeworld eyes. If she had a pearl where was it during jailbreak? She was assigned TO peridot as well. Why would a jasper so praised to get a pearl be following orders from a peridot. Jaspers fight wars and a pearl is not going to help in that. This theory is complete bs and slice knows that. I only sub to these channels for news. Their theories are 90% of the time complete shit. That’s because they need the UA-cam money so they make a video in every single thing. Theories that no one cares about or that people already know like “Does rose love pearl” and every kid on the site eats this all up and acts like slice is the greatest UA-cam and has the best theories
If a mere Ruby like Eyeball thought it possible that she'd get a Pearl for killing "Rose Quartz", then a Quartz Warrior like Jasper could certainly have one if her Diamond superiors felt her exploits merited one. A Gem from one of the strata just below the Diamonds like a Morganite, Hessonite or Emerald would probably have a Pearl if they were in any kind of administrative command position. A Gem of the level of a Quartz warrior (officer-tier) or lower would only have a Pearl as a special reward.
Slauderek Jasper was not under the orders of Peridot; quite the contrary. Jasper overrode Peridot's previous orders so as to get back to Homeworld with "Rose Quartz", and the Ruby Squad were sent to find the "commander of the Earth expedition", i.e. Jasper. If you want to argue about whether Jasper actually deserved a Pearl in the eyes of Yellow Diamond, one could ponder the apparent non-sequitur of Jasper having the reputation of being the ultimate Quartz warrior, taking out dozens of Crystal Gem enemies, and yet apparently never faced Rose Quartz herself...was this due to unfortunate circumstances or to an abundance of caution on the part of the Diamonds? Finally, if you're pointing out the absence of Jasper's supposed Pearl on the Handship, I'll merely mention in turn that neither Blue nor Yellow Pearls were apparently aboard their Diamond mistresses' ships in Reunited.
I imagine if a Pearl’s owner was missing for too long, they would be bubbled and stored until the owner returned (which may end up being indefinite... there’s probably some storage area somewhere full of bubbles pearls with missing masters). Gems live a really, really long time. I think even a few thousand years isn’t enough for Homeworld to assume a Gem is dead or otherwise permanently gone. Also, they don’t exactly have families, so I doubt inheritances are a thing. With how literally objectified Pearls are, i think it’s easier to compare them to a valuable than a person. If you disappeared for a few years but were still liked by your family, it’d be kind of shitty of them to give away your Xbox or something just after a few months. I think if a pearl would only be reassigned if their master was deemed a criminal or otherwise unhonorable, because then the gem would have lost rank and be no longer deserving of a pearl. Given that the Diamonds tend to erase all traces of imperfection, I wouldn’t be surprised if pearls belonging to traitorous gems were rejuvenated in order to wipe their memory. This is also under the assumption that the pearl is innocent and wasn’t connected to whatever their owner did to break Homeworld’s laws. If the gem is known to be shattered, their pearl is effectively masterless and will probably be reassigned without rejuvenation.
Wow! You know, I never even thought of that! Yeesh, a can of worms indeed. I wouldn't put it past Jasper to both have and be proud to have a Pearl. But Sapphire, I don't know. I wouldn't mind Sapphire having a Pearl, because it could show further depth in her character growth. Or since it has been so long since Sapphire dropped the fact she had a Pearl it can show, like all beings, she still has things about herself she needs to work out. It will be interesting to see if this is ever brought up in the show.
I also think that Pearls a specially made for a gem so after a while a Pearl is bubbled until their master returns or if they have a rebel master then they are shattered
P.E.R. If Jasper was a war hero in Homeworld's eyes (considering how much Eyeball gloats over her, we can assume that that's true), and Pearls are awarded as a way of acknowledging what they've done, then it's more than possible that Jasper would have one. But, considering Jasper's lack of empathy, it might be better for her Pearl that Jasper is currently trapped on Earth. Am I alone in thinking that?
*Rose* *Bears*- That sounds like a pretty plausible scenario. I hope they elaborate further on this subject. *Cheshire* *Cat* *5732*- Eh, it's kinda hard to say since we still don't know all the odds and ends of a Pearls treatment on Home World, much less a master less Pearl. I mean, what if all master less Pearls get shattered or end up like White Diamonds Pearl. So although, I'm sure our big cheeto puff wouldn't exactly be nice to a Pearl, it's hard to say if Jasper's possible Pearl is better off. Also, for a side bar, what if Jasper's Pearl would be treated worse than an average Pearl. Because lets face it, Jasper maybe a war hero and may have some respect for being the only "perfect" gem to come out of Pink Diamond's brigade, but she still doesn't really fit in with the rest of Home World's gems. And I wouldn't be surprised if behind her back other elites talk poorly of her. Which may make her Pearl in a worst predicament.
We know from Peridot that there are "hundreds" of Pearls in existence. yet the Diamonds themselves only utilize one or two each. Pearls are capable of light duties like "holding your things", minor housekeeping, acting as a clerical assistant and singing for your entertainment. Other than the Diamonds, the only personal quarters we've seen were those of the Famethyst and other Quartz warriors aboard the Zoo Station, and these were barrack-type accommodations, each Quartz being assigned a tube. A Pearl in this kind of environment would be superfluous. My guess is that a Pearl might be needed by a Gem who is habitually in a command position at some settled place, who would have more than a mere cubicle for living space and thus would be expected to have one to perform those tasks that would be beneath her station, as well as announcing her high status to Gems in general. If a lower-strata Gem like Jasper or Eyeball was distinguished enough to be awarded a Pearl, she'd almost certainly be separated from the general herd and allowed to live in elite quarters. Jasper may or may not have her own Pearl; same with Aquamarine. They may not want them aboard their respective spacecraft because of a lack of obvious duties, or because they may not particularly care for their Pearls' company, or even declined to have the Pearl that they were entitled to because in their estimation they're useless ostentation. A Sapphire might not have a Pearl assigned to her because she's normally close by her Diamond. It's possible that our Sapphire has a Pearl, but it's also just as likely that Sapphire only had one temporarily (e.g. when she was on Homeworld while Blue Diamond was on Earth) or declined to have one as being unnecessary.
@@RokuroCarisu The argument can be made that Pearl specifically trained/taught herself for the purpose of the rebellion. The again, her 'summon' is a spear, so maybe all pearls have SOME fighting capability, maybe for the purpose of protecting their masters and their masters belongings?
Now that I think about it, it would only make sense for Jasper to have a Pearl. Most likely Sapphire had one as well. And when it comes to their master being gone... I have three ideas. They are given to another elite gem, they are poofed and waits for their master, or lastly they are shattered because they now have to purpose
Icicle The Polar Bear they wouldn’t shatter a pearl for having no purpose, she’d be reassigned. They’d also be reassigned before they’re ever poofed. But it makes no sense for a soldier to have a pearl as pearls aren’t supposed to be fighters on Homeworld. Don’t over exaggerate jasper’s strength and assume she had a pearl. For sapphire, she didn’t have a pearl, but I’m sure some sapphires do if the diamonds think they deserve one. If sapphire had a pearl she would’ve been with her during the answer, or recruited with her into the crystal gems, as pearls follow their orders
@@slauderek3195 Well just so you know, I wasn't saying that my **theories** are fact. I have just been giving ideas. I love this shoe and I want to input theories to make people think about it
i don't think the would shatter a perfectly good pearl. Like YD said "how many perfectly good gems did you have us destroy" I think they are poofed and then have to wait for there master or are given to any new gem in need of a pearl if the master doesn't seem to be coming back.
Homeworld has a reasorse shortage, they wouldn't shatter a perfectly good gem for something like that. I think if their owner is missing they either just leave them to wait or poof them. If they know the owner won't be coming back (shattered, run away etc) they would give the pearl to someone else.
Pearls could’ve become crystal gems themselves once their master rebelled. And let’s not forget the resource shortage plaguing home world. Most likely said pearls would be recycled and given to other elite gems. I mean why would they waste resources to make what is their equivalent of slaves? Also some elite gems may receive multiple pearls over time. Kind of like getting a trophy. Heck, gems may receive more “fancy” pearls in place of the one they originally had as a reward. Do I think jasper has a pearl? Yes. Will she be shattered or punished if jasper doesn’t come back? I don’t think so.
Thanks to the Rejuvenator from the recent Steven Universe movie, I think any pearls that were left by their masters either due to being abandoned or betrays may have been reset and given to someone else. Homeworld is running low on resources as it is, so making new pearls where there are existing pearls that can be reset would be a waste.
Stop trying to make jasper seem so deserving of a pearl because she’s not. She’s a soldier. What soldier needs a pearl. Unless she does something so so great in the eyes of the diamond but that’s not something jasper did. She fought in the war, ok, so did thousands of other gems. Just because u think jasper is cool doesn’t mean we should be over exaggerating here saying she’s some ultimate Quartz warrior.
@@slauderek3195 no, I wont. Because as stated by Peridot a certified kindergartener and she is the Ultimate Warrior. Additionally judging by the way all the rubies talked about her she is famous and powerful and the fact that a squad of rubies was dispatched to collect her showed her importance. did you watch the video? This was covered in it. Additionally, we have yet to see her lose to a single gem outside of a fusion. And when she fused with someone else she was able to fight a four Gem Fusion and dominate them.
I hope we get a scene of Pearl and Steven together on Homeworld where Steven is treating Pearl as he always does and all the gems around him are confused as to why a Diamond is being so friendly to his Pearl.
I think the movie has some insight into this. They most likely get rebooted with a rejuvenator and assigned to someone else like our Pearl did. Unless they did something out of line, like "white" pearl, not following protocol with Pink Diamond, then they're probably punished in some way like she was.
It’s horrible to think that other gems might have went through what Lapis did. It definitely scarred her and hid away part of her character. Can you imagine what it would do to gems more sensitive or stayed longer imprisoned. Yikes.
Jasper would deny the thought of having a pearl, she fought all her life all by herself, she will never stop fighting she wouldn't need a pearl, she'd be proud to say it
Is Saph did have a pearl. I can't blame her for whatever became of it. Remember she didn't know she was going to fuse and then have to leave the court. She thought she was gonna be shattered. What happened to her was spur of the moment. Then after that with the war. If she dis have a pearl I don't think she had the time or ability to save her. It could also be said that while she is a high class gem. Is she really high enough to have a pearl? The only gems that we know have a pearl are the diamonds. I could see Jasper having one but also she was framed as the ultimate or perfect warrior. That kinda of language is usually used in reference to diamonds only.
We have to wonder why she specifically was asked by Blue Diamond to make appearance at court to scry. We don't know if it could have been ANY Sapphire and her being the one picked was random, or if for some reason our Sapphire specifically was higher ranking than other sapphires? Maybe her visions were more accurate or maybe she'd predicted/done something in the past that warranted higher status. Those factors could contribute to whether or not she may have had a pearl.
I feel that only gems that are a matter of importance actually get a pearl. Take Sapphire, she was a member of Blue’s court, right? That is a pretty high rank, one that could be pearl deserving. Other high rank gems would have pearls too. I think that Jasper having a pearl would make sense, or at least some personal assistant. In ‘A Single Pale Rose’ we do hear Pearl say “Yes my..Quartz.” even though this was more of a joke line, I think if Jasper did have a pearl, that is how she would be referred to. I can imagine that an Era-1 Peridot might have a pearl, since they have powers, unlike Era-2 ones (Peridot aside).
What are your thoughts on Jasper being a fusion? Theories have gone out saying that it’s because of her two colored gem and body; not only that, she actually has a pupil (fusions are known to have pupils whereas regular gems have no pupil)
I think while it may be normal for Sapphire's to have pearls, not all may have had them, that could've been just as normal for all we know. All we really learned is that it's not unusual to see a pearl serving one so we still can't really know unless we ever find more evidence or a straight up answer
Considering how pragmatical homeworld can be as well, it's safe to assume that pearls belonging to rebels are just repossesed and then reasigned to serve another high-ranking gem.
Maybe Lapis did too because when blue diamond saw her rebelling on Earth she said "a Lapis lazuli, do all gems that step foot on this miserable planet turn traitor?" (Something like that)
That is a good question if they could refuse a pearl because I feel like that's what Jasper would do. She seems to have that kind of "I'll do it myself" type of stubborn personality and she would probably be annoyed with the thought of being stuck with a gem she would probably think of as weaker to herself. That would make for an awesome realization after she sees how capable cg pearl is though!
KimiKorn I don’t think so 1. Jasper wouldn’t get a pearl. 2. If she did she wouldn’t refuse it. She’d feel like she deserves one as part of it. And the other part with her being so loyal to the diamonds, she would never refuse any gift from them
@@slauderek3195 hmm good point, but I guess I didn't think about that since it's still unclear how loyal she is to yellow (just because she's so devoted to pink). But I agree that I don't think she would have a pearl, just because I feel like her status seems to have been promoted to that equal to an agate's, maybe leading other quartz and peridot but not as high as sapphire, and Holly didn't have a pearl.
My boyfriend and I have a concept called The Processor. Its kind of like gem Hell. When a gem is no longer needed in any capacity, or come out deformed/off colored in some way, they’re poofed, bubbled, and transported, probably off planet, to The Processor. It’s sort of like a large scale macerator, grinding up gems to a fine powder and adding water, making them goop to be injected into a kindergarten once again. Maybe pearls simply get reassigned, maybe they go to The Processor. I don’t really know.
All the pearls we’ve seen have always served a diamond. But we know from sapphire that pearls can serve other gems. But why haven’t we seen other pearls serving other gems?
Umm... This suddenly has me thinking about the implications of "Harvesting" on Homeworld. If gems that went missing during the war were deemed treacherous and their property seized... And the pearls held under suspicion as a result... I don't think reassignment would be an option.
I can’t do tasks without some kind of video playing but I get distracted easily so that’s why I love your videos cause I can just listen and completely understand, keep doing what your doing !
Wait.. If PD is Rose and Rose is Steven.. Eyeball: (blah blah blah Roses gem blah blah blAh) mY oWn PoRL Me: Nah, if ya brought Rose/PD's gem back to homeworld, YD and BD (and maybe WD idk) would probableH think Eyeball was the one who caused PD's absence all along and would likely punish Eyeball in some way. JuSt mY tHoUgHtS 🙃
REBANX PS4 GAMING don’t think so. The diamonds would figure it out and piece it together that rose is pink diamond. Also, she’s a ruby. The diamonds not in a million years would assume a ruby was responsible for pink diamond being gone
2:57 there is no disregarding at all lapis’s are an elite gem, there’s no reason for them to go after her when they probably thought she’d been shattered after being gone for so long
damn...woulda been nice to actually explore something like this in the show :\\\\ like ya know...any other show would've because they aren't TIED TO THEIR YOUNG PROTAGONIST when the SIX THOUSAND YEAR OLD GEMS are FARRRR MORE INTERESTING HMMMMM
Honestly same- I feel the exact same way. That would’ve been so much cooler, along with a lot more things. Like.. I don’t know... a redemption for Jasper which Rebecca said she would get one at some point. That was a lie-
KoolKitty100 I have several that give Jasper a redemption, but this is the one that i love rambling about: Steven Universe Renegades. Renegades gives Jasper a redemption in a rather odd way: By swapping bodies with Steven. It also serves as follow up to powers that Steven used but never did again, and powers he got out of nowhere in future.
after the movie, i like to think pearls are restarted/rejuvenated and given to other gems, this still kind of works if they’re given to different gems because just like our pearl, it’s safe to say other pearls can be customized to be how this new owner wants. so the pearl and creator don’t feel weird about the pearl having a past owner.
I think, that if a gem that has a pearl, who is either lost when serving their mission, executed, etc, their pearl could be taken away and given to another gem to serve given the current resource crisis. But I wouldn't be surprised if the pearl of a gem found guilty of treason or labelled as off color would be shattered given how hostile Homeworld is. As for Jasper, it could be possible that she has a pearl, but at the same time, even that she is a perfect soldier, she is still bottom tier with no truly significant status or things she has done to Homeworld other than serving and surviving the war. And I don't think that enough to get yourself a pearl, unless Yellow truly favors Jasper that much.
Über Kirbeeh I think the show hinted several times that Jasper has lots of qualities and has done actions that homeworld exhaults, she’s basically a legend according to other soldiers and has performed well to the point of standing out to a diamond amongst the millions of others
Love love love this theory. Definitely something I would have come up with if I were more invested in the show. I'm not sure how harshly I could hold Sapphire responsible for whatever torture her Pearl may have gone through. In these sorts of situations, the villainy of the higher ups is so horrible and far-reaching that it's near impossible to protect the little guys if you want to move forward. I'm also not a trained political navigator so I can't really speak on the subject beyond what I've seen in Asian palace dramas lol.
This is unlikely but I like to think that when pearls somehow lose or are separated from their masters for a long time, they would be shoved back into their hole or put on some sort of off off mode. If a pearl where to be given time to themselves, away from the labor of their purpose...they might start to enjoy that too much, so when their master returns, they are no longer happy with Homeworld, leading to rebellion. It would be in Homewrolds best interest to do anything possible, humane or not, from this happening. Somehow "turning off" a pearl would be very useful to them. But that's just my thoughts:) if Jasper has a pearl I will be so happy. I'm gonna call her "Cheeto pearl"
As for Jasper’s pearl(if she has one), i think she’s waiting for her at home. I don’t think they believe jasper to be shattered or anything so i don’t believe they’d get rid of her pearl or give her to someone else. As for the Pearls that belonged to gems who defected during the war i think they were shattered. I believe Homeworld’s mindset would be “well if the master is a defector then it’s pearl must be too”. And “a master’s thoughts and beliefs are it’s Pearl’s thoughts and beliefs”. After all, a Pearl is supposed to be a completely loyal servant to the gem that owns it.
Any indication on what her life was like on homeworld would have been interesting. We see her as an angry war hungry monster, but that's only because she is interacting with her enemies and Steven. Since everything is from Stevens emotional and physical perspective, it's impossible to know.
I wonder if Sapphire's Pearl would've been interrogated after her owner became a rebel, and possibly shattered. Or maybe she fled and became one of the many off-colors hiding on Homeworld.
Though I don’t believe Jasper had a pearl the pearl someone drew on the thumbnail of this video is just adorable. And honestly I love the nose gem, it’s really cute!
Jasper is a warrior class gem, so I can't imagine why she would want a pearl unless she needs someone to polish her weapons or something to that effect. As far as what happens to pearls without owners, I think they are either reassigned to a new owner or bubbled until someone finds them a new purpose.
Where are all those Pearls coming from then? Like, every gem should technically be able to own a Pearl, right? Is there just a giant stash of Pearl gems somewhere on Homeworld? Having said that, I'm imagining a broomcloset-sized room filled to the brim with Pearl gems and Yellow Diamond opens the door to get one and is hit with an avalanche of gems.
If there is a surplus, they possibly could be stored. Though, I imagine its much more organized. I dont think they are made in bulk and stored however. Gems like Quartz soldiers are made in multiples at a time because you need as many soldiers as possible, right? But I feel like a pearl is only made if a gem of high power or of great achivement is assigned to get one
I think that a pearl would just be assigned to a different gem if their master was lost or shattered, much like how Jasper herself was assigned to a different diamond after pink diamond was thought to be shattered.
*Would Jasper have a Pearl?* Honestly, I don't think so. I believe that she would never have one, simply because she is a 'soldier' gem. No matter how perfect Jasper ended up being, she's still reguarded as nothing but a tool that the Diamonds use for war. In fact, her 'perfection' may even be more of a reason she has no Pearl - she fits her role, so why give her any 'rewards' for it? It seems that Pearls are largely seen as similar to a mix of having a maid/butler, and simply have a fancy 'accessory' similar to how rich people often wear high-class jewelry to show off how 'important' they are. So, for Homeworld, Pearls are a huge thing and giving one means that the gem is 'close' to the status of the Diamonds. *Does Sapphire Have A Pearl?* Again, I don't think she would have one but for a different reason than Jasper. While Sapphire does have a higher status than Jasper, I feel that the spot for a Pearl is taken over by the Rubies. This is because I believe that Pearls are not meant to guard/fight/protect, but simply stand around and entertain their master/follow their orders. And because Sapphires are Seers, they'd need the protection a lot more than just having some 'accessory' to follow them around. But, if she ends up having one, I'd love to see that idea of Homeworld Pearls and the general gem hierarchy being expanded (even if now Homeworld has completely abolished that system). *What Happens To Abandoned Pearls?* Honestly, anything is possible here. Maybe they're made master-less (like the majority of Pearls), maybe they're bubbled/shattered, or they may even be given to another gem that's the same 'type' as their previous master. I truly believe that, aside from the Diamond's Pearls, there is just a bunch of random other Pearls that are created whenever and just stand around waiting to be given to another gem. Which means that only the Diamond's Pearls are 'tailored', while the others just pop up randomnly in kindergartens. It seems the only exception to this rule is both of PD's Pearls, as her original had that 'Star Wars' hairstyle instead of the curly-poof that PD has while our Pearl looks nothing like her and has all the colors of the Diamonds. Though, tbh, I think that the Pearls would simply be master-less. It means too much to actively shatter a gem, as it gives them too much 'attention'. So even if their master was rebellious (or was falsly accused of being such), the Pearl would just be left alone so long as they also weren't rebellious themselves. So long as they stay within their servant roles, they'll be fine... Though, I have to say that I like the 'Pearl Slave Auction' theory a lot. It'd be interesting to see a bit of real world history implanted into the series, and to see how things change when Pearls are no longer seen as slaves to other gems. Even if that theory is never true, it's still a good discussion.
The thought of a pearl with a nose gem makes me laugh really hard
Maybe that would be little gemstone.
I think it'll be cute like a little koala

Sorry this was so long. I had to get my thoughts out. Loved the video.

@@ceanne-6599 I sometimes read them, I read this one atleast.
Well we know that lower caste gems have "managers" that organise them, as YD was going to inform Peridot's manager of her incompetence.
Slauderek
Jasper was not under the orders of Peridot; quite the contrary.
Ok but I love the pearl in the video cover she's so cute
Ikr
Ikr
She even has a lil stripe on her shirt.
How long did it take you to write this🤔
Less than ten minutes. I post when I have spare time.
If the Crystal Gem Pearl is any indication, they can also fight pretty well if necessary.
@@RokuroCarisu The argument can be made that Pearl specifically trained/taught herself for the purpose of the rebellion. The again, her 'summon' is a spear, so maybe all pearls have SOME fighting capability, maybe for the purpose of protecting their masters and their masters belongings?
Not to be rude but who actully read this?
Icicle The Polar Bear year later they are probably rejuvenated with a factory reset for their new owners to customize
Omg yessss I'd love to see an orange pearl as well as one with a nose gem
Merlin except jasper doesn’t have a pearl so
Slauderek I said I'd love to see her as in assuming this theory is correct. Not that she actually has one. But it's a good thing fanart exists

Jasper is the Ultimate Quartz warrior. She better deserve a damn pearl. Also she should have been brought back b4 the wedding/diamond attack
How long can a gem be away before their pearl no longer belongs to them?
Spinel: A LONG TIME
Almost a year old. And now...we know so much more about pearls.
Yikes.

I think jasper could be the type to reject the offer of a Pearl, cause she does things by herself.
Morganite also has a pearl. Jasper, hell no. This theory was a waste of time for Adsense
Slauderek Why are you so over-offended about Jasper having a Pearl? I’ve seen you whining about it in at least three comment chains now.
I think sapphires do have pearls, remember at the zoo, sapphire pretended to have a pearl and no one questioned it.
Your theories are so interesting! Glad to watch your videos again 😁

Y’all just predicted spinels story omg
Jasper is a Cheeto puff
Considering how pragmatical homeworld can be as well, it's safe to assume that pearls belonging to rebels are just repossesed and then reasigned to serve another high-ranking gem.
The rubies even idolize jasper
KimiKorn AKA Pink Diamond's Pearl. Can't WAIIIT for that
My boyfriend and I have a concept called The Processor.
Maybe not all high class gems have pearls, but they're able to own one

we see that the pearl in rhodonite served a morganite, and we have been told that they serve high class gems
Umm... This suddenly has me thinking about the implications of "Harvesting" on Homeworld. If gems that went missing during the war were deemed treacherous and their property seized... And the pearls held under suspicion as a result... I don't think reassignment would be an option.

Pearls ARE organic. So are jets, corals and ivories--gems that haven't appeared yet, but that would probably also be servant class.
Jasper deserves a Pearl she was the Strongest Gem (no fusion or Diamond)
She also had high status on Homeworld and beat Lapid in control for Malachite
after the movie, i like to think pearls are restarted/rejuvenated and given to other gems, this still kind of works if they’re given to different gems because just like our pearl, it’s safe to say other pearls can be customized to be how this new owner wants. so the pearl and creator don’t feel weird about the pearl having a past owner.
This video is really interesting, I have never thought about it. I still don’t like how Homeworld treats Pearls.
If i was a diamond and i had a pearl i would treat my pearl with a lot of respect. I mean the get to serve the most elite gems

White and Blue: damn it
I think, that if a gem that has a pearl, who is either lost when serving their mission, executed, etc, their pearl could be taken away and given to another gem to serve given the current resource crisis.
Über Kirbeeh I think the show hinted several times that Jasper has lots of qualities and has done actions that homeworld exhaults
Über Kirbeeh I think the show hinted several times that Jasper has lots of qualities and has done actions that homeworld exhaults, she’s basically a legend according to other soldiers and has performed well to the point of standing out to a diamond amongst the millions of others
Then why would they send soldiers to find her, or ask where the hell she was?

Hello!
I think that a pearl would just be assigned to a different gem if their master was lost or shattered, much like how Jasper herself was assigned to a different diamond after pink diamond was thought to be shattered.
I don't remember having a pearl.
LOL
maybe because you're a corrupted gem
*Would Jasper have a Pearl?*
Honestly, I don't think so.
*Does Sapphire Have A Pearl?*
Again, I don't think she would have one but for a different reason than Jasper.
*What Happens To Abandoned Pearls?*
Honestly, anything is possible here.
