I’m taking my boys to this on Saturday, here in Dallas. What’s the deal with the hot wheels in the bin ? Like what were you looking for in there? And what was the deal with the receipt and receiving the cool water bottle and other goodies?
For the Hot Wheels in the bin he is most likely looking for the Super Treasure Hunt that comes in the main line cases. With the receipt if you spend I think 25 or more dollars on hot wheels or Mobil 1 you can get the bag they gave him. Other than that their will also be a Kool Kombi car that is exclusive to the event. Hope this helps
Just as the other commenter described, the dump bin is really only looking for a regular or super treasure hunt from the cases that they dump. You could also pick up some mainline cars from those cases that you might not have. Depending on how they run the event, there might be a children specific dump bin that they can go through exclusively. Detroit didn't do that, but Indianapolis did. To get the bag of goodies, including the ZAMAC Nova, you have to buy $25 worth of Hot Wheels and/or Mobil 1 merchandise that day. There will be a little Legends Tour tent outside that you take the receipt to and they will verify the purchase and hand you the car. Dallas might be very very busy (hard to know, but it's a big city, so I'm assuming) so if you don't want to spend a lot of time waiting in line, it might be best to try and get multi packs, tracks, and oil early on, get the receipt and get in line. Then also get in line for the Kool combi exclusive. That one you buy right at the event. I believe that is also close to 25 dollars. If you want one of each of these for multiple children, you'll want to make sure you do multiple transactions of at least $25 for the Nova. I believe with the Kombi you can just buy multiple. Otherwise, have fun and enjoy the car show itself. Look for cars that will let your children sit in and take photos in. Those tend to be the ones the judges like as well and that are in the running to win. The DJs are always playing great music all day. It's a fun time. Hopefully you all enjoy.
That Nova is SWEET! I thought the car was a Kombi! I'm going to Chicago. I don't like the idea of camping out to be there, I plan on being in town an hour before the show. When did you go in Walmart there? Looks like it was after it opened if nobody was waiting outside
The Nova is really cool! The cool Kombi is the Legends Tour car, you are correct. The Nova is the numbered 2024 car, similar to the mail ins for other stores, like Dollar General and Dollar Tree. Walmart opens at 6 AM and so that is when they let you in the store.
Nice! I actually found the HW Legends Tour Team Transport at the local Walmart the other day! Very surprised to find it since it was kind of hidden in a shelf that nobody probably looked into.
I didn't get any supers. I got just a regular H case treasure hunt, a ZAMAC set, and the tour exclusive ZAMAC Nova for buying $25 worth of merch at the event. It was worth it.
We should have let the kids pick the winner Hot Wheels legend tour 2024 Detroit those judges need to be interviewed when they get back two Hot Wheels headquarters. Your application say you were looking for custom builders
It would be hard to let kids judge. You'd have to give them some sort of narrowed down options. There were not a whole lot of customs at the show. There were at best six custom cars at the show, and a few were very subtle. Something also to keep in mind is that a custom car is a very broad interpretation.
Sorry I didn't reply sooner. Hopefully you had a good time! My only advice would have been to just be observant and try to find spots where cars where being dumped, outside of the area where you had to wait in line. Other than that, have fun, which I hope you had!
@@alloutoctane I did have fun! I didn’t like that they just let everyone go and dig into the bins. There was no time limit or certain amount of people at a time. Everyone just cut in line but other than that it was a good time!
Oh wow! That's different! There were parts of the store that did that in Detroit, but, there was a line at the home and garden center where they were timing people. Up near the front, they were dumping certain cars and that is where I got some of the Trucks and other cars. I'm so glad you had fun! I don't know you're planning on going to Indy. I might be going, still haven't decided yet.

Yes, it is 25 dollars worth of Hot Wheels or Mobile 1 merchandise! Show them the receipt and you get the Nova. The Cool Kombi is a different purchase.
