That is a VERY cool tool to make stuff with! Word of caution, though: Watch out with both foam and MDF. Both give off toxic fumes, but especially MDF can give off some nasty carcinogenic stuff. Make sure to ventilate VERY well when in use (and preferably for a while after, too!). Can't wait to see what kind of projects you're going to tackle with this one!
Thank you for the information! I am going to be getting an enclosure for this unit and venting it outside right away. I highly recommend it, and it didn't take long to come to that conclusion.

Thanks for the shoutout! EVA foam engraving is so satisfying, haha. Excited to see what you make with it.
Thanks for the idea my man!
Very interesting. You should definitely check out 3D Print Farm and what he's done with tile engraving in colors.
I will thanks.
I would make customized insignias/flags/etc and submit them to the Templin Institute
Very cool!
Engrave some custom dice. I engraved mine with a mechanical Dremel engraver. But a laser engraver would allow much finer detail.
Good idea thanks.

Really interesting and informative video that, mate.... now don't tempt me to buy one! :o :D
Thanks man! I tried to put together a good example of someone's first experience with a laser engraver.
Never used a laser, only a plasma cutter but I think they're similar!
Oh nice!
You can burn that book, GW will replace it in a couple of years, again.
True
Troy b'y! Where did you find those dungeon tile files? They're wicked
Honestly, I can't remember. I just googled png. Dungeon tile images and found that one.
This channel needs more views and subs, awesome stuff, man
Thank you. I appreciate that! Especially since this video is not doing well, 😄
Definitely some terrain and a bunch of different tabletop gaming aids. Round trackers, army tokens and much more.
Oh, tokens would be a good use.
That's a cool machine. What part of the island are you from.
West coast now
That notebook is epic!!! This might be the next machine I get for Mike.
Thanks! That ine worked out really well
What a great tool! I had no idea laser engravers could do all that, and it looks like they can do much more. Very cool!
You bet! Thanks for the support my man!
Are those brackets used to secure to the board provided?
No. I designed and 3d printes them. I wanted to make sure the printer was always put back in the exact same spot relative to the grid.
That is super cool. I didn’t know you can do foam like that. I’ve got to get me one of those
I know right!
I would love to give my mother in law one.. she is big into Wood working
I can see this being great for woodworkers and hobbyists for sure. You can make so many cool little details with this.
I would like one to make fdm terrain.
I will be doing that for sure!
That is Awesome!!! I have been wanted to get a laser burner for some time now and now I know which one I want to get. Thank for sharing.
Nice man! If you do make sure you use that discount code I have in the description
@@FacilityD20 I will do!!!
I've never used one of these but watching the process was quite interesting. Sweet timelapses too!
Thank you! Take a bit of time to put together a video like this lol.
